Rockin' New Year's Eve is the ninth episode in the second season of Glee: The New Years, and the first episode in the second arc. This is the New Year's Eve episode, and set place for preparation for 2013.
Chuck once again throws another party for New Year's Eve, hoping that the antics that happened the other year won't happen again, and suddenly surprises everyone with the return of Anna. However, it seems that tension has been going on, so far, between Daniel and A.J., and also, Drew and Levi. Meanwhile, Will tries to put himself out of misery when Chanel makes assumptions of him being her unborn baby's father. Later on, Claira and Alex will have a close relationship with each other that will cause others to think twice about her.

Well, that’s what you missed on Glee!
Levi, Carina, Gunner and Dougie both walked in the halls of McKinley.
Levi looked at his watch. “21 hours, 50 minutes and 20 seconds left until 2013,”
“This year has come so fast, you know?” Dougie said. “Just wait, right when the new year starts, I’m going to start fresh,”
“I agree, I think that all of the pain and dismay I’ve had over the year with Addison, I think it’s time for me to restart my life with Carina.”
Carina smiled, “Aww,”
Chuck quickly ran right behind the clan, “What’s up, guys?”
“Oh, we’re just thinking of some plans for the new year,”
“Well, before the new year actually starts, it’s going to be a party tonight!”
“Another party?” Carina said.
“Yup, another party,” Chuck said. “It’s going to be totally awesome,”
“Look, if you’re going to do the I’m Too Sexy gig like you did at Dougie’s birthday party, I’m gonna push you down,” Carina said.
“I promise I’ll try not to,” Chuck looked away, trying not to laugh.
“I must admit, that was the fun part of the party,” Dougie laughed.
“Well, you guys can all come to my house around 8, and it’ll be ready then,” Chuck said. “It’s going to be POW,”
“POW?” Gunner chuckled.
“Yup, POW,” Chuck said. “Well, see you guys,”
Chuck walked away, and Levi stopped as everyone else did. “You know, when he said POW, all I’m thinking is that it’s going to be one crazy and dramatic party,”
“The same thing I was thinking,” Gunner said.
“Well, I guess we’ll have to see,” Carina said.
They all continued to walk.
“I think she’s lying to you, Will,” Emma said, as Will was in her office.
“I don’t know, Em, she really sounded like she was serious about it,” Will said. “We did have sex together, but I know that she put something in my drink that night,”
“Maybe so, but she’s probably doing this to get attention from you, or to try to hurt her ex’s feelings,”
“Or, maybe she’ll end up doing the Terri,”
Will shook his head. “I just can’t believe this is happening,”
“Will, even if it’s true, I’m not mad at you, we’ve all made mistakes,”
“Thanks, Emma,”
“A New Year’s Eve party?” Alex said. “Sweet,”
Claira smiled as she was across from Alex at the Lima Bean.
“I was thinking if maybe me and Shannon could show our singing skills at the party, and maybe we could join New Directions. Me and Shannon both decided to transfer, our parents help pay. We would be there by until Winter Break ends,”
“Awesome,”
“Do you think that, um, we could, tell them?”
“Tell them what?”
“That, you know, we’re dating?”
“I don’t know, yet, Alex, they don’t actually know that I’m with you now, and I don’t want them to have second thoughts about me, I think it’s best to keep it secret,”
“Well, it’s OK, I mean, we can just tell it when we’re ready,” Alex slowly went to Claira’s hands and lightly grabbed them and held them together.
“I don’t know, Chuck, I might not want to go,” A.J. said as he sat in the cafeteria across from Chuck.
“Why not?” Chuck said.
“I’m just going through some things now that I need to get over,”
“Daniel, isn’t it,”
“Yeah, Chuck.” A.J. said. “If I go, it’ll be so much tension between us,”
“Look, A.J., bud,” Chuck said. “I don’t want you feeling bad today, it’s a new year coming and I want us to party like it’s the end of the world, and I’ll do my best to make you have a good time and keep the stress away from you for the night,”
A.J. weakly smiled, “OK, I’ll come,”
“Great, besides I didn’t want you to miss the surprise,”
“The surprise? What surprise?” A.J. asked.
“You’ll see,” Chuck smiled.
Suddenly, Cheyenne, Elizabeth and Charlie walked to Chuck and A.J.’s table.
“So, rumour has it, you’re having another party,” Cheyenne smiled.
“Yup, it’s true,”
“We would love to come, I mean, we won’t start any trouble, we promise,” Cheyenne looked at Charlie and Elizabeth, and they all smiled.
“Sure, guys, you may come,” Chuck shook his head and chuckled.
“We’ll see you there,” Cheyenne and the rest all walked away.
“Gosh, it’s like 50 degrees outside today,” Dougie said. “Thank god, school is over for the two weeks, this will give me time to spend more time with Levi,”
Levi smiled.
“You guys are so cute together,” Carina said.
“Thanks,” Dougie said. “You and Gunner aren’t bad at all either,”
“I know, our chemistry is getting more and more intense everytime we’re near each other,” Gunner said.
“I wonder what’s going to happen tonight,”
‘I bet A.J. and Daniel won’t even try looking at each other,” Carina said.
“I think Drew’s up for trouble,” Dougie said. “I can just feel that he’s ready for round 2,”
“But I thought you got rid of him for good,” Levi said.
“Hell, no, babe, if he’s pushed away, he’ll come back, he’s like a bug you can’t even get rid of,” Dougie said.
“I really don’t see anything wrong with Drew,” Gunner said. “I loved his Christmas performance last week,”
“That’s only because you haven’t really seen his actual personality,” Dougie said. “If you have actually been with him, bro, you’d realize how good of a jerk he is,”
“Like I said, guys, we shall see,” Carina said. “Even if there is drama, so what, we all got each other’s backs, besties gotta stick together, right?”
Everyone smiled.
“Aww, Carina,” Levi ran to her and hugged her, then Gunner and Dougie both went and joined in.
Chuck was in his house as his parents were dressed up.
“OK, you may have a party here, Chuck, just don’t start again with the beer, got it?” His father said.
“Got it,” Chuck said.
Chuck’s mother gave Chuck a kiss on the cheek, “We’ll see you next year in a couple of hours, sweetheart,”
“See you around, son,”
They walked out of the door and closed it. Chuck began to decorate his house with streamers and New Year’s theme looks.
It took him at least a half an hour to do, until it was time for others to come in.
“Perfect,” Chuck said as he gave finishing touches to his living room.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang and he walked to his door and opened it.
“Claira, hey,” Chuck said.
“Hey, Chuck,”
“And you guys are… Alex and Shannon, right?”
“Yes, vomit boy,” Shannon chuckled.
“Vomit boy?”
“You threw up at Dougie’s party, Chuck,” Claira said.
“Yeah, I was drunk, I’ll try not to do that again, guys,” Chuck said.
“Well, aren’t you going to invite us in?”
“Oh, yes, excuse my manners,” He opened up space for Claira, Alex and Shannon to enter, and he closed the door.
“Wow, not bad for a New Year’s party,” Shannon said. “I should have brought my muffins,”
Alex shook his head, “Shannon, please stop with the muffin talk,”
“I’m sorry, if me and my muffins’ relationship is more closer than you and Cl—“
Alex closed her mouth, “Shannon, stop!”, she whispered.
“What, what did I say,”
Claira nodded, “Don’t,” she mouthed to Shannon.
The doorbell rang once again, Chuck went to open it and Cheyenne, Charlie and Elizabeth were at the door.
“Well, hello, Rebels,” Chuck said. “Come on in!”
The three all walked in. “Hey guys,” Cheyenne said.
“Hey, how are you,” Alex said.
“I’m doing well,” Cheyenne said. “You’re hair’s really pretty,”
“Well, thanks,”
The doorbell rang once again, “Ugh, again?”
Chuck went to the door and opened it, Carina, Levi, Gunner and Dougie were all together.
“Hey guys, glad you all made it,” Chuck smiled, then he later on saw Shawn and Lily walk behind the four.
“It’s going to be a full house tonight,” Chuck said. “Good thing I have a big house for more space,”
“Hey guys, welcome to the party,”
Chuck saw Addison walk behind them.
“Hey, Addy, glad you could make it,”
“Thanks,” Addison smiled.
Drew walked along the way.
Chuck then close the door to see everyone talking to each other.
“I hope this party rocks,” Chuck said as he passed by.
A.J. had rang the doorbell, taking a huge sigh. Chuck opened the door.
“Glad you could make it, buddy,” Chuck smiled.
“Thanks, Chuck,” Chuck gave a handshake to a hug.
As A.J. walked in, the room was halfway packed, he sat on the couch and made himself comfortable as he sat down next to Addison.
“Hey, A.J., how are you feeling?”
“I guess I’m feeling a little better,” A.J. said. “I just need some time,”
“I understand,” Addison said. “I’ll be here for you the whole night,”
A.J. smiled. “Thanks, Addy,”
“So, do you guys sing, or what?” Chuck asked.
“Yeah, we do,” Alex said. “We were Treble Belles members,”
“Really?” Addison said. “I thought that group quit for Regionals,”
“Yeah, they did,”
“I invited them to come because they wanted to join our club,” Claira said.
“Are you sure we could do that now? I mean, Mr. Schuester’s not here now,” Dougie said.
“We could, I mean, look, Drew joined without auditioning, right?”
Dougie quickly took a look at Drew, then looked away. “I guess,”
“Then, why can’t these two show their skills for us? Better enough, more people could mean our chances at winning Regionals,” Lily said.
“Yeah, Lily does have a point,”
“Sure, guys, show us what you got,”
Alex and Shannon walked to the center of the living room where everyone was looking. Alex put in a blank CD inside of the radio near them. As the music began to play, Shawn whispered in Lily’s ear.
“I hope these girls are just right for New Directions,” Shawn said.
“Me too,”
“Chimpanzee's is hatin', but I take it all in stride, put her in a jungle with bananas on the side,” Shannon sang. “Told you they'd revive your career but somebody lied, I ain't talking poetry when I say this chicken's fried,”
Carina and Claira looked at each other and nodded.
“Anyway Britney, why they so jealous that you teamed up with me? Tell 'em they my son, yup, yellin' mama pick me. anyway, burned Breadale'. what's that? I don't know what, Femme Fatale,”
“Sniff, sniff, cries, I done slayed your whole entire freaking life. oh oh, you got some Epson Salt, I done balled all day you ain't touched the court,”
“What? What you tired? You need a break? You was hot when? Ricki Lake!”
Alex sang, “I notice that you got it, you notice that I want it, know that I can take it to the next level baby, if you understood this, this is the remix, baby let me blow your mind tonight,”
Alex and Shannon both sang, “I can’t take it, take it, take no more, never felt like, felt like this before. C'mon, get me, get me on the floor, DJ what you, what you waiting for.”
The girls in New Directions began to sing along, “WOAH OH OH OH OH OH WOAH OH OH OH... WOAH OH OH OH OH OH WOAH OH OH OH...,”

The boys were pleased with the performance.

The song ended and the boys including the Rebels all clapped.
“Wow, that was totally out of sight, you two,” Chuck said. “I liked it, and I’m sure the guys agree,”
“Right, guys?”
The boys said, “YES!”
“I may not be Mr. Schuester, our director, but for me, I’ll say, “Welcome to New Directions, girls,”
The girls all jumped and cheered and Alex and Shannon were smiling.
“If only my muffins were here,”
As everyone were dancing and playing around in the living room, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Chuck went and opened the door, and it was Daniel.
“Oh, um, Daniel, hey,”
“Hey,” Daniel said.
“Um, come in!”
A.J. was sitting on the couch and as Chuck walked in with Daniel, he looked and he looked away and walked away, so he couldn’t be near him.
Daniel sighed.
I understand that I haven’t been spending time with A.J. for a long time, I made a mistake, but truth is, it was like I was falling out of love with him. Overall, it’s like I still love A.J, but at another, we’ve fallen apart.
A.J. was in the kitchen as he grabbed a soda from the cooler.
I’m really trying my best to keep my distance from Daniel. I really don’t regret ending it with him. He’s been ignorant and hurtful to me, and I can’t have that in my life.
A.J. looked when Drew walked near him and grabbed a soda from the cooler.
Maybe I could have someone like Drew. He’s cute. But I don’t want to be looking for love now, being single is my motive so far.
The guitar tune blasted on the speakers. Chuck, Gunner, Drew, Levi, Dougie and Daniel were on the center front of the living room as the girls watched.
Chuck went to the middle and began rapping, “She left her clothes in Kansas, ever since we stepped on campus, ever since she left her classes, so she could fill some glasses, she want a photograph, 8 by 11 dreams, she's got that self-worth, she learned at 17,”
“And I could work with that, been working all week, she's been flirtin' all night, wishing she could own me, but I come with a lot of baggage, and a lot of ego, and a lot of fashion, just drop that 'Prada' bag and I could probably make tonight pop and she said:”

Gunner went to the center and continued. “She left her cares on the bedpost, next to the lipstick and the mentos, savian and a candy necklace, she goes to places her friends won't, she's in the backyard, under a starry scene, I’m thinking backseat, she's looking for the keys,”
“And I could work with that, been working all month, she's been flirting all night, lady, I'm the wrong one and she said,”

The girls were singing along with the boys, while Daniel looked at A.J., who looked back, but then he looked away.

Drew and Gunner both sang, “She was like "who was that singing?", I was off in the back room drinking, savin' something, thinkin' nothing, when I heard my phone start ringin',”

“She left her friends in high school, she's thinking "Why do I like you? If I just make-do with a nice dude, I could make it to the white picket fence crew," But it just won't work like that, when I wake it's on the road, you could take me in your room, but you can't take me home and she said,”

The girls gave a round of applause and were cheering, and Daniel couldn’t keep his eyes away from A.J.
Dougie and Levi were talking to each other as the others were dancing in the living room.
“How are you feeling?”
“I’m feeling OK, so far,” Levi said. “It seems like the fun hasn’t started yet,”
“I feel the same way,” Dougie sighed.
“Is something wrong?”
“No, it’s just, I just wish Drew wasn’t here right now,” Dougie said.
“Doug, don’t worry about him, stay away from him,”
Dougie took out his cellphone and showed him the text message Drew sent him,”
It said, “You’ll regret the choice you made, Douglas.”
“He’s against me, Lev,”
“He’s not against you, he’s just doing it to get your attention,”
“I just really wish I could just tell him how I feel, so he could just leave me alone,” Dougie said.
“Maybe it’s best if you tried talking it out with him,” Levi said.
“I tried that already, and it seems as if he just won’t let go of the past,” Dougie said. “Is it worth it,”
“It does,” Levi said. “If you want this all to be over, and if you don’t want him to get in the way of our chemistry, it’s best that you do tell him,”
Dougie looked down, then looked at Levi. He walked away from him, and saw Drew stare at him as he was sitting on the couch.
He began to sing in dismay.
“Gave you the benefit of the doubt, till you showed me what you were about, your true colors came out, oh,” Dougie sang. “And your words couldn’t hide the scent, cause the truth about where you've been is in a fragrance I can’t recognize,”
“Standing there, scratching your head, blood shot eyes, drunk with regret, hanging yourself ten feet over the edge,”
“I’m done with this, feeling like an idiot, loving you, I’m over it, I just don’t love you, don’t love you no more,”
Dougie was on a stage, with a black suit on, and Brad was playing the piano, and a blue spotlight went on his face. He continued to sing.

Drew walked on the stage, looking face to face with Dougie, and he continued singing.

Dougie’s dream sequence ended and he snapped back at the party and he walked away from Drew.
Will was getting in the car as he left the school, and as he went in the car, Chanel knocked.
He started the car engine and rolled down the car window in the passenger’s seat. “What do you want, Chanel?”
“I really want to talk to you, Will, please can I get in the car?”
“No, Chanel, I’m going home to relax for New Years, I don’t have time for your problems right now,”
“Please, Will, it’s really important, please,”
Will sighed and opened the car door. As Chanel got in, she sat down and closed the door, and Will quickly cut to the chase. “What do you want, Chanel?”
“It’s about what I talked to you about before,”
“Chanel, I don’t have time to talk about this right now,” Will said. “I’ve never declined that a baby wasn’t mine before, but right now, I believe that it’s not mine, OK?”
“What do you mean it’s not yours? We’ve had sex before,”
“How can you know this for sure, Chanel?” Will said. “You’ve could have had sex with someone else without me even knowing, you are sneaky like that,”
“The only person I’ve ever had sex with was you, Will, no one else,”
“So, you’re telling me, you’ve never had sex with Randy?”
“I haven’t,” Chanel said.
“How am I supposed to know if you’re telling the truth or not?”
“Will, Randy left me behind again, OK?”
“He left you behind again?”
“Yes, right as soon as I told him that I was pregnant, he left me alone in New York,”
A flashback occurred and Randy and Chanel were in the bedroom at night. Then at morning, Chanel had woke up to see that Randy wasn’t there.
“Randy?” Chanel got up from the bed.
“Randy, babe, are you there?”
It was complete silence, she looked everywhere, and realized that the house was half empty. She looked in the closets and saw none of his clothes or anything in the house.
“I can’t believe he did this to me,” Chanel sat on the bed, depressed.
Chanel began to sing, “He's a man so full of style and grace, any woman'd be impressed,”
She stood up and found an empty suitcase as her bedroom closet was left open.
“Takes a smile and paints it on your face, makes you feel like you've been blessed,”
“Promises things so special, it seems to come right from a song, but soon as you begin to feel secure, you turn around and he is gone,”
“Packin' his bags, gotta go gotta go, packin his bags, gotta go, he's a Samsonite man,”
Chanel walked to the closet and grabbed the empty suitcase and she began to put her clothes in the pack.
“Maybe he is just a rolling stone, wondering from here to there , searching for a place to call his own, you wonder if he even cares?”
“So many years of heartache and pain, is all you seem to know him for, is it you or is it he to blame, whenever he walks out your door,”
“Packin' his bags, gotta go gotta go, packin his bags, gotta go, he's a Samsonite man,”
Chanel got dressed and dragged her suitcase all of the way out of the house.
“Should the wind blow you in my direction, you come through to rendezvous, forget about your good intentions, they leave me lonely and confused. Mr. Samsonite, pack a bag that is my suggestion, from here and out, you will be leaving at my discretion!”

She whistled for a taxi and went inside of the car.
The flashback ends, and Chanel shook her head.
“So, clearly, he left you, because you’re pregnant?”
“Yes, and he thinks that it’s you, because we had sex,”
“Chanel, you do know that YOU slipped a pill in my drink.”
“I know that,”
“So, this is all your fault, not mine,”
Chanel sighed.
“Will, I just really need your help on this, I really do, you don’t even have to take care of my child, I just want your guidance,”
Will sighed, “Fine. OK? But don’t expect anything else,”
“Thanks,”
“Do you need a ride home?”
“I’m only at my mother’s house, so yeah,”
Will restarted the car again and Chanel looked down, looking as if she was guilty.
Later on, back at the party, Chuck’ cellphone had received a text message.
It said, “I’m outside, Chuckster, what should I do now?”
Chuck later on smiled, and he walked outside, “I’ll be right back everyone, I have a surprise for you guys,”
“A surprise? What surprise?” Addison said.
“You’ll see,” Chuck said as he quickly walked outside.
Everyone looked confused.
As Chuck went outside, he pulled Anna with him to the door, “Shh, don’t say anything when you come in,”
Chuck walked in, “Everyone close your eyes, except for the newbies!”
“Um, OK,” Cheyenne said.
Everyone did, and Chuck went back out and pulled Anna inside of the house.
“OK, now, EVERYONE open your eyes,”
Anna smiled gleefully at everyone.
As everyone opened their eyes, Addison gasped. “ANNA?!”
“Oh my god, it’s Anna!”
“Anna!” A.J. said. “You’re back!”
Everyone, except for the others who didn’t know her, ran to her and gave her a group hug.
“Oh my god, it’s so great seeing you again!” Lily said. “We missed you so much!”
“Yes, we really did,” Daniel said.
“Are you back for good?” Addison asked.
“No, I’m just going to have another 7 day trip back to Canada, of course, I’m back for good!” Anna smiled.
Everyone cheered.
“We have some new people we would like you to meet,” Chuck said, as he walked Anna around.
“This is Carina, Levi, Drew, Alex and Shannon, the new members of Glee Club,”
“Nice to meet you guys!”
“I’ve heard a lot about you,” Levi said as he shook Anna’s hand.
“Really?”
“Yeah, I’ve heard that you have a really amazing voice,” Levi smiled.
“Hmm, who was nice enough to say that to me while I was gone?”
“Some people,” Chuck looked around, pretending that he didn’t say anything.
Anna looked at Chuck and tapped him, “It was you!”
They both laughed.
“You know, this might be the best New Year’s Eve ever,”
“A rockin’ New Year’s Eve!” Cheyenne said. “Come on, let’s get this party started AGAIN!”
Everyone cheered.
“Um, guys, I’m sorry, but you can back me out, I’ll be in the kitchen, I guess,” A.J. walked away.
The music began to blast on the stereo.
Addison walked to A.J. in the kitchen.
“Are you OK?” Addison asked.
“No, not really,” A.J. said. “I can’t be in the same room with Daniel without all of the looking and staring,”
“I think he’s still in love with you, A.J.,”
“I really don’t care, he deserves to be hurt right now, after the way he treated me,”
Addison patted his back, “Listen, A.J., it’s your choice to let him go, not mine, but what I would say, is to think wisely,”
Addison hugged A.J., “Now please just have some fun for me,”
“I’ll come back in a little bit, I have to think,”
“OK,” Addison walked out and went back in the living room.
A.J. stood still, thinking, and he began to think of the memories he had with Daniel. He began to sing. “It's been the longest winter without you, I didn't know where to turn to, see somehow I can't forget you, after all that we've been through,”
“Going coming thought I heard a knock, who's there no one, thinking that I deserve it, now I realize that I really didn't know, if you didn't notice you mean everything, quickly I'm learning to love again, all I know is I'ma be ok,” A.J. sang.
“Thought I couldn't live without you, it's gonna hurt when it heals too, it'll all get better in time and even though I really love you, I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to, it'll all get better in time,”
Daniel was near a couch, and A.J. walked near him.
“I couldn't turn on the TV, without something there to remind me, was it all that easy, to just put aside your feelings,”
“If I'm dreaming don't wanna laugh, hurt my feelings but that's the past, I believe it and I know that time will heal it, if you didn't notice boy you meant everything, quickly I'm learning to love again, all I know is I'ma be ok,”

A.J. ended the song, in dismay as he sat down far from Daniel on a couch, as he watched everyone dance around the living room.
Chuck walked in the kitchen and opened up the refrigerator, and his eyes widened when he looked inside and saw a 2 cases of beer.
No, Chuck, you made a promise NOT to drink tonight, think of last year.
His train of thought went back in time as he had a flashback of getting drunk and kissing Dougie the night, and then when he stripped in front of everyone.
Chuck smiled. I mean, I guess one drink wouldn’t hurt for everyone, right?
Chuck took out the first case of beer.
“Hey everyone, look what I have!” He put it out there.
“Chuck, NO!” Addison said.
“What? One drink wouldn’t hurt, right?”
“Yeah, for you it will, you drinking means porn star mode,” Cheyenne said.
“Cheyenne, I’m sure I won’t act a fool and besides, what’s a new year’s party without beer?”
Shannon went to the case and took one out, “I’m sorry, Muffins, I had to,”
“I guess I’ll take one,” Alex took one out.
Some of the others tried to refuse to take a beer from the case.
“Dougie?” Chuck asked.
Dougie looked away, “Fine, but I guess it’s ONE drink,”
Cheyenne took a drink out, and Addison walked near and took one, “If I get drunk, I’m blaming you, Chuck,”
“Daniel? A.J.”
“No, thanks,” A.J. said.
“Suit yourselves,” Chuck shrugged.
The rest all took a drink from the case and began to open their bottles.
“First, I just want to make a toast,” Chuck said. “Here’s to our new members of New Directions, Anna coming back and 2013 baby!”
“2013, here we come!” Gunner yelled.
Everyone yelled out, except for Daniel and A.J. who sat far apart from each other.
Everyone was dancing around, and Alex looked like she’s had more than one drink.
“I love BEER, BEER,” Alex yelled.
Cheyenne whispered to Elizabeth, “This girl looks loony to me,”
Alex was dancing all over the place, and Claira was trying not to laugh. Chuck and the others were drinking and dancing along, but Alex looked as if she was going to go crazy.
“I need my muffins with me tonight, I can’t drink without them,”
“What is with you and this sudden attraction to muffins?” Elizabeth said.
“You don’t know muffins, so you can’t ask that,”
Elizabeth shook her head and whispered to Cheyenne’s ear. “And they’re gonna win with 2 crazy ass girls? We’ll see,"
“Keep the drama at school, not here,”
Alex was still continuing to dance around the room and then she grabbed Claira with her.
“Alex, what are you doing?”
“Guys! I have an announcement!” Alex said.
Everyone stopped and looked at Claira and Alex.
“We’ve been thinking about it for a while, and me and Claira have decided to come out and say that WE’RE DATING!”
“Wait, what?” Cheyenne said.
Elizabeth and the rest’s mouth dropped.
Shannon quickly ran to Claira and Alex.
“ALEX!” Shannon said.
“Alex!” Claira silently yelled.
Alex burped and then she suddenly fainted on the floor.
“Is that true, Claira?” Addison asked.
“I can’t lie, yes, we’re dating,” Claira said as she was outside with her, as Alex was getting recovered back inside.
“I’m dating a girl, too,”
“You are? It’s Karin, isn’t it?”
“We’ll, we haven’t actually dated yet, but we’re sorta dating, and I kind of have a crush on her, and she has a crush on me, too,”
“That’s the same way I’m feeling with Alex,”
“So, wait, are you, uh,”
“I don’t know, I’m just curious now, and I want to experience what it’s like being in love with a girl,”
“Hmm, I get your point,” Addison said. “But why did you keep it secret?”
“Because I was scared that they would all make assumptions about me,”
“We wouldn’t, Claira, we’re your friends, we accept each other no matter what,”
“My parents don’t even know that we’re dating each other yet, and it’s hard even telling my parents about it because they jump to conclusions,”
“My mother already knows that I’m bisexual, the club doesn’t even know, not even Gunner.”
“So, I guess we’re in the same problem together, aren’t we?”
“Yeah, we are,”
“I’m sure we can make it through together,”
“Girl power?"
“Girl power,” Claira said, and they gave a knuckle touch and smiled.
“Is it true that you guys are dating?” Lily said.
“Yup” Claira said.
“Wow, you guys do look like a hot couple to me,” Dougie said.
“I agree,” Levi said.
“Totally agree,” Carina said.
“Why did you keep it from us, we could have been proud of you,”
“I was just scared that you guys would think that I’m a lesbian,”
“Well, are you?”
“No, I’m just experiencing with Alex, I’m curious,”
“We all understand you, Claira, we love you,”
Claira smiled. “Thanks, guys,”
Dougie was in the kitchen, trying to get a water from the cooler to vanish the liquor in his body. When he grabbed it, he went to the counter and washed his hands, until, suddenly, Drew walked behind him. Dougie stood, trying to grasp his thoughts about Drew.
Drew felt the same way in his perspective. It then turned into a dream sequence as Dougie moved back from him, looking back at him in angst. Drew did the same.
“Go ahead just leave, can't hold you, you're free, you take all these things, if they mean so much to you, I gave you your dreams, 'cause you meant the world, so did I deserve to be left here hurt, you think I don't know you're out of control, I ended up finding all of this from my boys, boy, you're stone cold, you say it ain't so, you already know I'm not attached to material,” Dougie sang.

Drew pushed the things on the counter and continued the song.

Don't you know I'm not attached to material?”

Drew and Dougie came face to face with each other.

The song ended and they were gazing in each other’s eyes in anger.
The dream sequence ended, and Drew and Dougie were still in the same position in the kitchen as before.
Drew decided to speak. “Dougie, I think I should talk to you,”
Dougie stood, “About what,”
“Us,"
“You do remember that there IS no US anymore,”
“I know that, I just want to clear things between us right now,”
“OK, fine, go on,”
“I’ve realized that I’ve made a mistake so many times, Dougie,” Drew said. “And maybe getting over you is the best thing I could do, I’m sorry for what I’ve done to hurt you and what I’ve done to try to get you back,”
“I forgive you,” Dougie said. “I mean, I’d still want to be your friend, but I just can’t face love with you anymore,”
“Thank you,”
Dougie lent out his arms to Drew and hugged him. “No matter what, I’d still love you,”
“I’d still love you too,”
Chuck was outside lookingat the sky, “Just 4 more minutes left before the end of 2012,”
Anna walked out, “Hey,”
“Hey, Anna,” Chuck smiled.
“It seemed as if everyone was happy that I was back,”
“They were, even I was happy,” Chuck smiled.
“I’ve missed you more, Chuck,” Anna said.
Chuck looked at Anna, “You have?”
“I have. All I’ve ever done when I was away was think about us, I took the affair with you and Dougie too seriously,”
“I was the one that took it too far, I wasn’t honest with you,”
“I just really want us to work it out,”
“You do?”
“Really do,”
“You know, I was thinking the same thing,”
In the house, the kids were counting down to 20 seconds.
“You’ve made this the best time of my life again,” Anna said. “I just want to thank you for making me feel welcome again,”
“I’m always there,”
Everyone in the house counted to ten.
“10, 9, 8, 7, 6,5, 4, 3, 2,”
Anna moved closer to Chuck and went and kissed him softly on the lips.
“1!”
Fireworks erupted and everyone in the house yelled, “Happy New Year!”
Everyone quickly ran outside and cheered and watched as the fireworks made a view in the night sky. Chuck and Anna smiled at each other and stood with each other and looked at the view.
“These fireworks are so beautiful,”
“They really are.”
Anna smiled, and then she began to sing, in acapella, “Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne!”
Everyone looked at Anna and smiled. “For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we'll take a cup o' kindness yet, for auld lang syne.”
Anna repeated the lyrics again, and Chuck began to sing with her, ““Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne!”
Each one by one, joined along in the chorus, ““For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we'll take a cup o' kindness yet, for auld lang syne.”
Anna spoke in voice-over, This is one of the biggest moments of my life. I’m in love with Chuck again, I’ve reconciled with old friends, and made some new friends, and had a good time. Isn’t this what a New Year is supposed to be about? The joy, the laughter and love, the freaky moments and the romantic moments, all in one day.
Each member had thoughts in their mind.

See, we all have plans for our future this year. Anna said. And my plans for 2013, is to stay as long as I can, just to show that I’m not afraid to look inside of myself and keep my love with me wherever I go. Happy New Year.
