Episode 8:Edit

So here’s what you missed on Glee: The New Years!

Addison bumped into a former Vocal Adrenaline member named Karin Stefano, who she bonds with, however, the others warn her because she may be a spy for the Glee Club. Meanwhile, Cheyenne settles down for advice with help from Carina, who seems to find herself in a relationship with Gunner, and Claira, who seems to be stuck on a former rival group member, named Alex, who unexpectedly kisses her. Speaking of kissing, Drew kissed Levi after warning him to stay away from Dougie, but it was only to prove if he really liked him. Later on, Chuck suddenly called an old friend, Anna, who moved to Canada with her older sister, as they actually speak to each other for the first time in months, and New Directions competed against The McKinley Rebels for Sectionals and they actually won, but, coming to realizations that they’ll compete against them for Regionals. Crazy, huh?

Well, that’s what you missed on Glee!

In the hallways of McKinley, everyone’s wearing sweaters and Christmas wear for the holidays.

Meanwhile, the girls in New Directions help with decorating the Christmas tree.

Carina sang, “On the 8th day of Christmas my baby gave to me, a pair of chloe shades & a diamond belly ring, on the 7th day of Christmas my baby gave to me, a nice back rub and he massaged my feet, on the 6th day of Christmas my baby gave to me, a cropped Jacket with dirty denim jeans, on the 5th day of Christmas my baby gave to me, a poem that he wrote for me,”

The girls, including Lily and Claira sang, “The feelin' that I feel is so good, he makes me,”

“Feel so in lo-lo-lo-lo-love,” Lily sang. “If he only knew what he does to me, my man, my man, my baby,”

“Oh he makes me feel so lovely, so sexy, I'm so in lo-lo-lo-lo-love, how I love him for his generosity, my man, my man, my baby,”

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“It feels lovely,” Addison sang.

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“It feels lovely,”

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“Whoa-oh, oh,”

“Yes it feels like Christmas,”

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“It feels lovely,”

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“It feels lovely,”

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“It feels so lovely,”

“Doesn’t it feel like Christmas,”

“The spirit of Christmas,”

“Yes, it feels like Christmas,”

The girls all vocalized in unison, the girls repeated the chorus and Carina lead it and belted it out.

The song ended and everyone clapped and cheered.

“I’m not sure if I’m in the Christmas spirit this year,” Chuck said as he walked in the hallway with Gunner and Daniel.

“Why not?” Gunner asked.

Chuck nodded, “I mean, I’m all alone on Christmas, who can I share my love with on this week?”

“By the way, did you call Anna?” Daniel said.

“Oh, yeah, I did,”

“Really, how is she?”

“She’s doing fine, in Canada, probably having fun without me,” Chuck said.

“Dude, don’t feel bad, I went through the same thing, and look at me now,”

“Yeah, you’re having a girl that I could have had a chance with,” Chuck said.

“Carina?”

“Yeah,”

“It’s OK, man, I feel as if A.J. and I aren’t spending much time together, it’s like we’ve gone our separate ways this time,”

“How?” Chuck said, as he adjusted his bag on his shoulder.

“It’s like he’s avoiding me, you know,” Daniel said. “Sometimes he ignores me,”

“Do you ever do anything wrong to him?” Gunner said.

“I think so,” Daniel replied. “Me and him had little arguments for the past couple of days,”

“Sorry, bro,” Chuck said. “But that’s not as bad as what I’m dealing with, my girlfriend moved away,”

“Yeah, he’s right,” Gunner said, but then he stopped. “Wait a sec, I have an idea,”

“What’s the idea?” Chuck asked.

“You should call her! Call her to come visit Ohio!”

“I don’t know, Gunner, she wouldn’t actually come, she’s in Canada,”

“At least try, we do all miss her,” Daniel said.

Chuck stopped and thought about it.

Will was in the teacher’s lounge with Emma.

“So, what are you going to do for Christmas?” Emma said, as she cleansed a green grape from a plastic container and ate it.

“To be honest, I don’t know. I’m so focused on guiding the kids, I’m not really in the Christmas spirit like I used to,” Will said.

“I feel the same way,” Emma said. “I mean, ever since, we ended, I felt alone,”

Will looked down, “Emma, have you thought about us working things out again?”

“I have, I’ve thought a lot about us after we broke up,” Emma said. “It’s like it’s different without you,”

Mr. Schuester put his hand on the table, “Well, if you’re willing to, I’m here,” He touched her hand and softly held it.

Emma looked up, but stuttered, and tried to hide her feelings, “Look at the time, I must go, I’ll see you later on, Will,”

She quickly got up and walked out. Will smiled, and then sighed as she walked away.

Then, all of a sudden, a person was wearing a Santa Claus suit and went to Mr. Schuester and said, “Ho, ho, ho!”

“Yeah, thanks, ho ho ho, to you too, I guess,” Mr. Schuester awkwardly said.

The person suddenly took out a Christmas card from the pocket of its red and fluffy jacket.

“Oh, and what is this we have here?” Will said. “Wow, a Christmas card!”

He opened up the card and then began to read. “Dear Will, I realized that what I did was wrong, and I know that Christmas time won’t be the same without you, would you please take me b--?”

Will stopped speaking, thoughts all came to his head, he stood up and looked at the person in the suit. The person then took off the white beard and Santa hat. Brown hair shot out of the teacher’s lounge.

“Chanel?” Mr. Schuester’s mouth dropped.

_______________________________________

“What are you doing here?” Mr. Schuester began to stutter constantly.

“I came back for you.” Chanel smiled.

“You came back for me?” he said. “Why are you suddenly trying to crawl back to me now?”

Chanel sighed and she sat her costume extras on the table and sat across from Mr. Schuester.

“Will, I’ve regretted a lot of things, a lot, and I really should have never broke your heart like that,”

“I don’t know, Chanel, I mean, dumping me for your ex? Abandoning our relationship in New York? I’ve been stressed out because of you since the whole half of the year.” Will said. “All of the stress I’ve put on the kids has caused them to quit, and all of that stress I’ve had is because of you,”

“I’m sorry, Will, I really am. My mind was playing tricks on me, OK?”

“Mind playing tricks? Maybe I’ve felt that way on dumping Emma for you,” Will said. “7 months later, you suddenly want to crawl under my skin again and play with my emotions, you can do that with Randy, but it’s not going to happen with me, goodbye, Chanel,” Will said as he got up and walked away.

“Will, wait,” Chanel sighed.

The Glee Club were in the choir room looking at the christmas tree glistening and radiantly shining bright.

“That’s the prettiest Christmas tree I’ve seen in my life,” Levi said.

“You can say that again,” Dougie said.

Drew stood behind the two and rolled his eyes and looked away.

Mr. Schuester walked inside of the choir room, “Hey everyone, let’s all take a seat,”

Everyone all sat down.

“Mr. Schuester, are you OK?” Lily asked.

“Um, yeah, I just had a rough morning so far, I’m sorry if I’m looking so sad,”

“Mr. Schue, shouldn’t we do some Christmas songs this week, I mean, it’s the last week until winter break, we should all make the best of it,” Chuck said.

“Yeah, I was thinking of a Christmas assignment this week, but this time I’m going to change it just a little bit,”

“How?” Daniel said.

“Well, um, sometimes Christmas is always about the joy and the fun, but this time, I want you guys to find a song that doesn’t show the aspects of it, find a type of sad Christmas song for others.”

“But, is that really what Christmas is all about, I understand where you’re going with it all, but I’m all in the Christmas spirit,” Addison said.

“You see, some people aren’t even able to celebrate this holiday, people don’t even have a chance to see another holiday like this, sometimes, Christmas is not always about the joy, it could always be the opposite at times,”

“So, you’re clearly trying to put us out of our inner Christmas spirit and trying to make us feel bad on this day?”

“No, I’m not trying to do that,” Will said.

“Christmas means a lot to me, and I don’t want to be depressed on this day,” Carina said.

Will sighed, “Just try it,”

“Mr. Schue, I think it’s time that I should be out of the box, I have a performance that really reflects to how I feel on Christmas,” Chuck said.

“Come on up,” Mr. Schuester said.

Chuck got up and went to the center of the floor. The piano began to play, and he took a deep breath.

“The fire is burning, the room's all aglow, outside the December wind blows away in the distance, the carolers sing in the snow, everybody's laughing, the world is celebrating and everyone's so happy, except for me tonight because...”

“I miss you most at Christmas time and I can't get you, get you off my mind, every other season comes along and I'm all right, but then I miss you, most at Christmas time,”

Everyone had a mood of dismay as he continued performing.

“I gaze out the window, this cold winter's night. At all of the twinkling lights alone in the darkness, remembering when you were mine, everybody's smiling, the whole world is rejoicing and everyone's embracing except for you and I,”

“I miss you most at Christmas time and I can't get you, get you off my mind, every other season comes along and I'm all right, but then I miss you, most at Christmas time,”

“In the springtime those memories start to fade, with the April rain, through the summer days, till autumn's leaves are gone, I get by without you, till the snow begins to fall,”

“I miss you most at Christmas time and I can't get you, get you off my mind, every other season comes along and I'm all right, but then I miss you, most at Christmas time,”

The piano ended the song and everyone clapped. Everyone gave a round of applause.

Chuck began to look down.

“Chuck, are you OK, bud?” Mr. Schuester lent a hand on his shoulder as he walked to him.

Chuck shook his head, “Yeah, I’m fine,”

It began to snow outside in the afternoon, and Dougie and Levi were inside talking to each other in the cafeteria.

“I’ve never wore anything like this before to school,” Dougie said as he showed a different style of fashion to school, he wore a red reindeer sweater and blue jeans.

“But you look amazing in it,” Levi smiled.

Dougie blushed, “Thanks, maybe I’ll wear things like this more often in the wintertime,”

“So, have you thought of any ideas for the assignment for Glee Club?”

“Me? Doing that assignment? Count me out, I’ve been there, done that,” Dougie said. “Bad enough, I had to deal with drama with my own ex-boyfriend last year,”

Levi sparked the word “ex-boyfriend” rapidly. The word went straight through his head after he began to have a flashback about Drew kissing him last week.

“Lev, what’s up?” Dougie said, as he tried to get his attention.

Levi sighed, and looked up. “Dougie, there’s something I have to tell you,”

“Speak on it,” Dougie smiled.

“Um, remember last week when I told you what Drew said to me?”

“Yeah, what about it?” Dougie looked anxious to know.

“Well, um, I guess he saw us near each other again and he caught me again by surprise and then…,”

An awkward silence shot between them.

“He kissed me,” Levi said.

Dougie’s eyes opened wide. “Come again?”

“Dougie, he kissed me, unexpectedly,”

“Why did he do that for?”

“He said that he wanted to prove a point. He knows that, I have major feelings for you,”

“You have feelings for me?”

“Yeah,” Levi said. “I have since we first met,”Dougie smiled, but then quickly stopped. “Look, I’m sorry that this happened, bro. Drew has taken this too far, and it’s time for it all to end,” He had an evil expression splattered on his face, and Levi looked around, worried.

In the night time, A.J. was in his bedroom with Daniel and they were aggressively kissing each other as they were lying down.

“I’m so glad we’re not away from each other,” Daniel said, as he continued kissing A.J. “We haven’t spent time together for a week,”

A.J.’s eyes were open, as he looked up at the ceiling, wishing this wasn’t happening.

Daniel went down kissing his neck, and A.J. began feeling very uncomfortable.

“D-D-Daniel, can you stop this, please?”

“Come on, A.J., just give me a couple of secs,”

A.J. looked as if he was going to blow, he pushed Daniel away from him.

“What was that for?”

“Daniel, I’m really not comfortable with doing this,” A.J. said.

“Why not, you’ve been doing this with me before,” Daniel asked.

A.J. shook his head, “My parents are downstairs, Daniel, that’s a difference,”

“It’s not like it’s a problem, baby, they both know we’re together,”

“Yes, but they don’t know that I’m going intimate with you, I just can’t, Daniel, not tonight,”

Daniel got infuriated and he stood up, “Really? Are you really serious right now, A.J.?”

“What are you talking about, dude?” A.J. said.

“I’ve been slaving for your kiss for a whole week, you hardly notice who I am anymore, furthermore, you treat me differently,” Daniel said. “What’s going on, A.J.? What’s seriously on your mind now that you can’t even look me in the eyes and tell me that you love me anymore?”

“Daniel, if you’re going to take this to a whole different level, then I’ll go with the flow, you know how you’ve been acting towards me last week,”

“What do you mean?”

“Last week, you hung out with the guys,”

A flashback occurs.

A.J. walked to Daniel in the hallway as he was inside of his locker.

“Hey babes, how about our night out tonight?”

“Sorry, I can’t, I’m hanging out with the guys,”

A.J. stood in dismay.

“Then, the time I gave you a thousand text messages last time and you never even sent any of them back,”

Daniel looked at his iPhone and saw the message that A.J. gave him. He looked at it and then put it back in his pocket and walked back to Chuck and the other guys in the cafeteria.

“You’ve been pretty much avoiding me too, Daniel, so consider this payback,”

“A.J., I’m, I’m sorry,” Daniel stammered as he spoke, looking around as if he felt guilt.

“Daniel, it really hurts me, it really does, all I wanted was you with me on the way, when I needed you, you weren’t there, it’s like, you’re taking advantage of us, and you’re substituting US with your friends, and that’s not fair to me. That’s the reason why I can’t even look at you and tell you how much I love you, because you’ve changed. And I, I just…” A.J. stuttered along the way, trying to think. “I don’t think that I can do it anymore,”

Daniel’s eyes widened, they began to halfway water. “Oh, well, um, OK.”

“Yeah, it’s, it’s OK,” Daniel tried to smile. “Well, have a very merry Ex-Mas, A.J.,” He walked out and then slammed the bedroom door.

He walked downstairs, and A.J.’s mother approached him. “Oh, Daniel, are you leaving? Dinner’s almost ready,”

“No, thanks, Mrs. Riley, I’m fine, I have to go,” Daniel walked out of the door. A.J’s mother was confused.

“A.J.!” His mother yelled out. “Dinner’s ready,”

“I’m not hungry,”

His mother wondered what was going on, then it came to her. “Oh, man,”

The next morning in Glee Club, A.J. walked in the room and Daniel began to look at him as he walked by. A.J. looked away and sat near Addison and Claira.

“A.J., what’s wrong, you always sit next to Daniel,” Addison whispered.

“Well, not this time,” A.J. said.

“Is something going on between you two?” Addison asked.

A.J. nodded, “I just don’t want to talk about it now,”

Mr. Schuester walked in, “Good morning, guys, I hope you guys have started on your assignment so far,”

Everyone was silent, it seemed as if there was a bunch of tension.

“None of you? Come on guys,” Mr. Schuester said.

“I’m sorry, Mr. Schue, but I’m preparing for Christmas myself,” Carina said.

“Same,”

“We all have plans this week, sorry,”

“This is when I need another director,”

A voice slurred in, saying, “Well, maybe I could help,”

Chanel walked in, smiling and everyone yelled and ran to Chanel.

“Ms. Rayne!” Everyone cheered out, except for Carina, Levi and Drew, who were confused with who she was.

They all gave her a group hug, and Mr. Schuester stood on the side, even more depressed than before.

“Oh my god, Ms. Rayne, we missed you so much!” Addison smiled gleefully.

“Ah, it’s just a couple of errands I had to run for 7 months,” Chanel said. “Well, no worries, I’m back!”

Everyone smiled.

“Oh, Ms. Rayne, since you’re here, how about singing a song for us, for the old times’ sake,” Lily said.

“Oh, no, I’m not sure if Mr. Schuester would want that,”

“Oh, Ms. Rayne, please?!” Everyone said.

“No, Ms. Rayne, it’s not a problem,” Mr. Schuester said sarcastically.

“Now, I’ve been hearing that you guys have been trying to do break-up Christmas songs?” Chanel said.

“Yes, and we’re struggling,” Dougie said. “Could you help us out?”

“No worries, guys, Ms. Rayne is coming to the rescue,” Chanel said. “Hit it!”

Christmas-type bells began to ring and the music began to play.

Chanel went to the center of the floor and everyone sat down smiling, but Mr. Schue, who stood there with no expression.

“The cold wind is blowin' and the streets are getting dark. I'm writing you a letter and I don't know where to start. The bells will be ringing Saint John the Divine. I get a little lonely every year around this time.” Chanel sang. “The music plays all night in Little Italy. The lights will be going up on old Rockefella's tree. People window shopping on Fifth Avenue, all I want for Christmas is you.”

“(Tell me) I've got to know, where do lonely hearts go, because nobody ought to be all alone on Christmas.”

“Things are different since you've been here last, childhood dreaming is a thing of the past, maybe you can bring us some hope this year, visions of sugar plums have disappeared.”

“Do you remember sleigh riding in the snow, and dancing all night to "Baby, Please Come Home”. Today's celebration is bittersweet, there's mothers and children in the street,”

“(Tell me) I've got to know, where do lonely hearts go, because nobody ought to be all alone on Christmas.” Everyone began to sing the words with her, and Mr. Schuester still stood there with no expression on his face. Chanel looked back at Mr. Schuester then turned back around.

“I'm all grown up but I'm the same you'll see, I'm writing this letter 'cause I still believe. Dear Santa I've been good this year, can't you stay a little while with me right here,”

“(Tell me) I've got to know, where do lonely hearts go, because nobody ought to be all alone on Christmas.”

Everyone continued to sing the song with her, and as the song ended, everyone cheered.

“You know, now, I have a great idea for a song,” A.J. looked at Daniel and quickly looked away.

“We missed you, Ms. Rayne,”

“I missed you guys, too!”

Chanel looked at Mr. Schuester, and looked away once again. Mr. Schuester sighed.

Chuck was walking outside as it began snowing after school, he walked at the park, thinking and constantly thinking about Anna, he stood near a railing and took out his cellphone and decided to call her.

As he dialed the number with his touchscreen cellular, he put the phone near his ear and the phone started to ring. Seconds later, the call had went to voicemail.

“Damn it,” Chuck said as he looked down.

Suddenly, Chuck felt someone touch him. Chuck slowly turned and his expression on his face dropped down like a thermometer. “Oh my god, Anna?”

“It’s me,” Anna said.

Chuck was in awe, “Oh my god,” as he gave her a hug.

“H-h-how did you get here?”

“I took the plane here!”

“It took you 7 days to do so?”

“Yep, long time, isn’t it?” Anna said. “

“Wow, that’s crazy,”

“It sure is,” Anna said. “I decided to move back with my parents, I pretty much miss them, and I miss my friends and McKinley, and I really missed you,”

“I really missed you too,” Chuck said. “You should come back to New Directions if you come back,”

“Are you sure they would want me now after what I’ve did to them at Nationals?”

“We’ ve already had more drama dealing with Cheyenne, Charlie and Elizabeth competing against us on both Sectionals and Regionals,”

“They’re in a rival group now?” Anna was completely stunned.

“Yeah, they are, long story,”

“I’ll come back as soon as I can, just until I get myself situated,” Anna smiled.

Chuck smiled back. “I was going to the Lima Bean for a latte, wanna come?”

“Um, yeah, sure,” Anna smiled as they both walked with each other.

Dougie quickly walked to Drew as he stood in the hallway in his locker.

“Are you really trying to ruin Christmas for me, Drew?” Dougie said angrily.

Drew looked around, “Dude, what are you talking about,”

“You kissed Levi! Why are you trying to start drama now?”

“What? I didn’t kiss him,” Drew looked around.

“Stop all of your lies, Drew, I’ve dealt with this before and you’re not going to get on my gullible side again. Are you trying to take away my life now just because you’re miserable? You seriously got what you deserved, a kick in the butt and out of my life.”

“Dougie, I kissed him just to prove a point,”

Levi was overhearing as he stopped by and he hid himself.

“To prove what, that you’re more of a jerk?” Dougie said. “I’ve told you times and times before that I don’t want to be with you anymore, I moved on, and you should do the same, because now, you’re trying to get in the way of someone I truly have feelings for,”

Levi stood like a statue, and began to blush. He mouthed, “Wow,”

“Dougie, why can’t you just forgive me for what I’ve done? You’re just going to forget about all of the times we’ve had?”

“The only time we’ve actually had together was when we kissed, the others you pressured me about sex, and I’ve been that road before and I’m not going back, so yeah, I will be forgetting those times, Drew, it’s worth it. Merry Christmas,” Dougie walked away from him.

Levi walked to Dougie.

“Dougie, did you mean what you said about me?”

“Of course I did, you’re a good guy, man and I really would want to spend time with you.”

Levi smiled, then he suddenly looked up and saw a mistletoe in the middle, and at the rim of the door.

“Well, look what we have here,” Dougie said.

“Yup,” Levi said.

“Well, it is tradition, so,” Dougie slowly leaned in closer to Levi, he was a bit nervous at first as he moved.

Dougie went to Levi and softly pressed against Levi’s lips and turned into a kiss. Dougie’s soft hands reacted and touched his face, and as they moved back, they gazed into each other’s eyes.

“Oh my,” Levi said.

Drew spotted the both of them, and had a very angst look on his face.

“You told me I was lucky, to have my chance with you, now last year's summer romance, is this year's winter blues.” Drew sang. “I treated you so nicely, to jewellery, and champagne, but you left me empty handed, yeah, you left me feeling, play-ay-ayed,”

“Now I hope you're happy with yourself, 'cause I'm not laughing, don't you think it's kind of crappy, what you did this holiday? When I gave you my heart, you ripped it apart, like wrapping paper trash, so I wrote you a song, hope that you sing along and it goes,”

In the choir room, Drew sang the song in the front of the choir room, and the group gave mixed expressions to the most.

"Merry Christmas, kiss my ass!"

“They say I'm losing my mind, I thought that for a while, I tear down decorations, they remind me of your smile. I hate that mistletoe, it makes me think of our first kiss, you bit my lip, you pulled me close, and then you taught me how to quit.”

“Now I hope you're happy with yourself, 'cause I'm not laughing, don't you think it's kind of crappy, what you did this holiday? When I gave you my heart, you ripped it apart, like wrapping paper trash, so I wrote you a song, hope that you sing along and it goes,”

“Merry Christmas, kiss my ass!”

“So sick of calling, you won’t telephone me, no, forget you girl, I'm going out. I gave you my all, but our love hit a wall, now, I'm jingle belling, and everyone's yelling, we'll drink 'til the bars shut us down.”

“Ain't that just what Christmas is all about?”

As the song ended, there was total silence, and Dougie began to snicker and some began to clap.

“Very good, Drew, I guess.” Mr. Schuester said. “But couldn’t you have made the song more appropriate,”

“I could have, Mr. Schuester, but this song really reflects to how I feel right now,” Drew said as he looked at Dougie.

Dougie looked away and shook his head.

A.J. was in the living room with his mother watching Christmas movies and took a sip from his mug of hot chocolate.

“I really can’t stand Christmas movies.” A.J. said. “Just the joy and the laughter and LOVE pisses me off every time,”

“Well, I guess we won’t have to watch it then,” his mother said. She turned the TV off.

“A.J., what’s wrong?”

A.J. sighed, “I don’t know, Mom, I’m just… I’m just stressed out,”

“It’s about Daniel, isn’t it?”

“How did you know?”

“I’ve realized when Daniel walked out of the door last night, and you said you weren’t hungry, I realized something was up,” Mom said. “Tell me”

A.J. took a deep breath. “We broke up last night,”

“Why, what happened?”

“He was claiming that I was avoiding him for a week, when he was avoiding me too. I’ve tried getting through to him, but all he ever does is hang out with his guy friends and not me,”

“Oh, sweetheart, that’s just a phase that boys all go through,”

“But it’s like, he never pays attention to me anymore, and I dislike that, so, I ended it off with him and now I’m confused if I really love him or not,”

“Look, A.J., I don’t want to be in your love life, but I will say this: It’s your choice. If you choose to be with him, go right on, if you do the opposite, you do what you have to do, it makes it better for everyone right?”

“Now, I don’t want you being stressed out on Christmas, OK?” Mom said.

“OK,”

His mother gave him a kiss on the cheek and got up and walked away. A.J. started to smile, but the smile vanished.

He began to sing as he was feeling much dismay.

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas, let your heart be light, from now on your troubles will be out of sight,”

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas, make the Yuletide gay, from now on your troubles will be miles away, oh,”

A.J. walked in the hallway as if no one had noticed him, not even Daniel, as he was laughing around with his friends.

“Here we are as in olden days, happy golden days of yore, ah, faithful friends who are dear to us, they gather near to us once more, ooh,”

“Through the years we all will be together and, if the fates allow. Hang a shining star upon the highest bow and have yourself a merry little Christmas now,”

A.J. sang in front of the choir room and Daniel sat in front as he performed “Faithful friends who are dear to us, they gather near to us once more,”

“Through the years we all will be together and, if the fates allow. Hang a shining star upon the highest bow and have yourself a merry little Christmas now,”

Everyone smiled as he performed the song, but Daniel didn’t.

“Have yourself a merry little Christmas now,”

Everyone clapped as the song had ended.

“Mr. Schue, I have something to say,”

“Sure,”

A.J. took a deep breath. “This song has just, just inspired me to move on, move on from everything in the past that has given me stress and disappointment. So, I’ll have to say, Daniel, I really love you. I really do. But, if I’m really what matters to you, why are your friends first in my eyes? I just can’t be with you anymore,”

Daniel’s eyes began to water, as he shook his head.

“Oh no,” Addison said.

A.J. felt a tear fall from his eye. “I’m sorry, I have to go,” he walked out and sobered in silence.

The room had an awkward silence and Mr. Schuester tried to quickly change the problem. “Well, um, does anyone else have their performance?”

“You’ll be OK, man,” Chuck whispered in Daniel’s ear.

Chanel knocked on Mr. Schuester’s office door.

“Come in,” Mr. Schuester said as he was writing.

“Merry Christmas,” Chanel said as she had a Christmas bag with her, and she put it out to his face.

Mr. Schuester looked up. “Chanel, what’s that?”

“It’s something I bought for you,” Chanel said. “Don’t you want to see it?”

“To be honest, no,” Mr. Schuester said. “I’m not falling for this,”

“Falling for what?”

“This, this trick, when you try to do something nice to win someone back, no,”

“I’m sorry, I just thought that I could do something nice for you, after all I’ve done,”

“Chanel, why are you here?” He asked. “All I want to know is why you are here,”

Chanel looked around, and she sighed. “Fine, I’ll tell you why I’m here,”

“OK, go on,”

Chanel sighed, “I’m pregnant,”

“Oh, really, congratulations, I guess. I hope you and Randy have the best baby ever,”

“No, Will, it’s not Randy’s baby,”

“Then whose baby is it? Have you done it with anyone else?”

“No,” Chanel said. “Randy’s not the father… you are,”

A sudden silence entered the room as Mr. Schuester’s expression caused tension. He was shocked and he felt as if he wanted to faint.

THE END.
