The Devil's Advocate is the third episode of the third season of Glee: The New Years, the main focuses of this episode are Levi Lashane, Claira Kingston, Cheyenne McLarson and Gunner White.

Levi's behavior puts a twist on his friendship with Carina when his churlish actions causes him to take a limit. Meanwhile, when Gunner believes that Levi is somewhat attracted to him after numerous events, he tries to force a plan by trying to test him to see if it's true, however, his plan seems to slip when a shocking and unexpected event happens between the two, causing his life to be "at risk" when it comes to his religious beliefs. Meanwhile, when Cheyenne's former flame Clyde Andrews, who is also lead of Vocal Adrenaline, returns, he tries to get his ways by attempting to win her back, but his plan fails. Later on, Claira tries to cope with the fact that her pregnancy may change her life, and when Peter tries to contribute, she refuses to let him be a part of it.

Plot[]

Carina opens the episode as she performs All The Boys while walking in the hallway. The song seems to be dedicated to Gunner, her ex-boyfriend, and also reflect on her final year at McKinley High School. After she looks at a picture of Gunner, she folds it and puts it away in her locker.

Levi continues to fantasize about Gunner after his previous encounter, prior to the last episode. However, he realizes his attraction for Gunner, even though realizing the detriments: he's straight, Levi is still dating Dougie, and he'd be disloyal to Carina, even though he wants Gunner to himself. As a plan to get closer to Gunner, he wants to create a bond with him to woo him.

Cheyenne is approached by her ex-boyfriend, Clyde Andrews, at school, surprised but unenthusiastic to see him, Cheyenne is clearly over their relationship. Clyde is a student at Carmel High and a new member of Vocal Adrenaline, and he wishes New Directions luck. Clyde attempts to prove that Cheyenne misses him, but she immediately denies any thoughts or remaining feelings for him. Isabel, spying on the two, questions who Cheyenne was talking to, but Cheyenne brushes her off rudely, insisting that she should mind her business.

Meanwhile, Colton and Candace are proudly welcomed to New Directions after being called back, with everyone excited for their presence. However, Claira's depressed, remorseful expressions, due to her break-up with Alex, worry Mr. Schuester. She refuses to tell New Directions her issues. Meanwhile, Gunner faces an uncomfortable gesture from Levi, and he tells Charlie. Gunner realizes that Levi may want a piece of him, and admits that he'll try to lead him on and test if it is true.

In the cafeteria, Cheyenne, Carina, Addison, and Elizabeth discuss their competition for Sectionals. Clyde, once again, arrives in the cafeteria, explaining that Vocal Adrenaline may be their biggest competition of the year. When introducing himself to Carina, he downplays her for being on Searching for Stars, telling her she must haven't been good enough to win. He also tells Addison that her ex-girlfriend, Karin, talks about her a lot. Clyde wants to win Cheyenne back, but Cheyenne, in song, performs We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together alongside the rest of the school in the lunchroom.

Alex, at the Lima Bean, meets with Shannon, who is happy to see her after leaving McKinley High. When Alex asks if Shannon is okay, Shannon awkwardly replies, but this is a foreshadowing of Shannon's external conflict in a future episode. Alex asks about Claira, who is depressed and emotional. Alex feels remorseful for leaving, but doesn't like to be lied to. She is unsure if she would talk to Claira, but Shannon encourages her to.

Gunner approaches Levi in the hallway, knowing his "test" to prove Levi's attraction, and he asks Levi to spend a night with him at a new place called The Den. Levi's fantasies continue, but he hesitantly approves, but Gunner noticed Levi's unusual erection. Later that night, they arrive at The Den, although Levi seems scared at first.

Addison is annoyed with Karin's hopes of wanting her back, to which she explains to Elizabeth. The two talk until Elizabeth leaves to go to The Den with Charlie. Meanwhile, Levi and Gunner enter the Den, and they unexpectedly meet up with Charlie and Elizabeth. Yet Charlie realized that Gunner's plan was going to happen, leading to suspicion. The four have an awkward encounter when Charlie and Elizabeth approach Levi and Gunner, asking if they would want to take a tour around the Den. After Charlie and Elizabeth depart, Levi and Gunner gaze into each other's eyes, in voice-over they express their unusual appeal.

Later on, Gunner and Levi perform for karaoke night, but they are considered a same-sex couple. Levi, unsure of performing, is encouraged by Gunner to perform. The two sing Beautiful Freaks together, increasing the unusual attraction between each other. After leaving the Den, the two express their enjoyment of the performance, but as soon as they get into Gunner's truck, Levi shivers helplessly. Gunner compassionately consoles him by keeping him warm. The tense atmosphere forces Levi to admit his attraction to Gunner, yet Gunner admits his attraction to him. The two both share a passionate encounter with each other in the truck.

That next morning, Isabel approaches Cheyenne once again, admitting that she wants to be like Cheyenne. When she hears this, Cheyenne tells Isabel to take notes by encouraging her to join New Directions. However, Isabel disagrees, with Cheyenne teasing that she won't be like her unless she joins.

Charlie is completely in awe after Gunner admits to him that he and Levi almost had sex, but knew that it would happen based on his "plan." Although Gunner feels for Levi because Carina and Addison haven't said anything like that before, Charlie insists that Gunner should stay away from Levi or it will deteriorate his reputation as a football team player. Gunner accuses Charlie of being homophobic, but Charlie stands up for his religion. Gunner, in anger, departs from the locker room after feeling judged by Charlie for his actions. Afterwards, Gunner faces a hallucination while singing Bad ReligionHe faints, and Charlie asks for help, with Coach Michaels asking for the school nurse.

Everyone in New Directions becomes worried for Gunner, but Levi excuses himself from the conversation, regretting his actions. Meanwhile, Mr. Schuester discusses new members, but A.J. continues to disagree. Isabel decides to join New Directions after conversing with Cheyenne. Gunner, recovering from his fainting, comes face to face with Levi once again, but walks away.

Clyde awaits for Cheyenne's exit from the school, continuing his quest to win her back. However, Cheyenne's boyfriend, Ari, arrives to walk her home. Clyde remains careless, still hoping to win her back. Cheyenne performs Rehab alongside Clyde after walking home.

Peter arrives at Claira's home with flowers, hoping to win Claira's approval to be the father of her baby. Claira feels that it's too late to attempt to be a father, but she hasn't made her decision of whether to keep it or not. She performs Too Little Too Late.

When Levi's parents leave for a party, Levi continues to fantasize about Gunner while watching a show on television. The doorbell abruptly rang, and Dougie, much to Levi's surprise, arrived.

At the end of this episode, Gunner reveals his actions to his parents, and receives a bad outcome. His parents are extremely disappointed, and his father disowns him, demanding him to leave, and go to hell. Gunner cried, unsure of where to go.

Note[]

Dear all GTNY fans,

when I first began to write this episode, I expected it to turn out to be more of humor and fun and shock, but then, it turns out that this is becoming one of the most serious episodes also. Even though I don't want to put this out, but being bisexual is really hard, especially when it comes to my religion, so for me to write about a character dealing with falling for another same-sex character, and it turns into a conflict from their beliefs, it hurts deep dealing with this. I know that religion is a very sensitive topic, especially to one of my dedicated friends here whose character is involved in the episode. I wanted to dedicate this episode to the people that I feel reflect to this the most. Justin and Kyler. So, I'll say this and I'll only say this once, if you do not feel as if you can be comfortable with religion being talked about in this episode, I demand you not to read because what's coming soon will be really tough and hurting, and writing about religion hurts me personally, I haven't even gotten to racial issues yet, which will be an issue later on, and I'm still feeling as if this is one of the most serious topics I've ever written about so far. So, I please warn you, if you do not feel comfortable, you do not have to read, thank you.

Much love, Trae.

Season 3, Episode 3[]

So here's what you missed on Glee: The New Years!

Cheyenne lost her co-captain rights to a cheerleader named Isabel Almendarez, who actually went to McKinley, but was expelled for hitting a staff member. Meanwhile, Claira's secret-hiding pushes Alex to a point of sadly leaving New Directions, when she forces her to spill the beans on her unexpected pregnancy. Gunner becomes fed up of Coach Michaels' insults, and later defends himself, but also realizes her true actions and they call a truce. Levi also mentions being distracted from Gunner's sexiness after trying to convince Chuck to return back to New Directions. Could this be a sign? Later on, new members were recruited for New Directions, starting from Ruby Becker, then Colton Knowles, then Candace Livingston, who had support from Cheyenne and Colton to join in.

Well, that's what you missed on Glee!

Carina opened up her locker, as she did, she realized that she had a picture hidden up top showing her and Gunner together. She took a deep breath, and saw pictures of the people that she lost during her years in New Orleans.

"So long my love sick youngsters, goodbye my use to be friends, I remember each vacation, each day we wasted, it felt so different then." Carina sang. "So long my casanovas, farewell to my long lost friends. I remember all the kisses, the hits it misses, I never knew I love like this."

Carina walked in the hallway, as if it was in slow motion, she looked all around, and looked down as she sang, "After all the boys that I thought I loved before, I didn't know what love was, till you knocked on my door, after all the boys that I wished had love me more, I didn't know what love was, never had this before." "Say you love me love me love me, you love me love me love. Didn't know what love was, until you love me love me love me. But yeah you love me love me love me, boy you love me love me love, didn't know what love was till you knocked on my door."

"So long my towering soldiers, reminisce about the boy cross town, he's still the wide eye genius, Hollywood dream said he'd never wanna be tied down, so long my high school teacher, damn I had a crush but I couldn't reach ya, remember all the guys, they were never right, I'm so glad I found you this time."

"After all the boys that I thought I loved before, I didn't know what love was, till you knocked on my door, after all the boys that I wished had love me more, I didn't know what love was, never had this before."

"Say you love me love me love me, you love me love me love. Didn't know what love was, until you love me love me love me. But yeah you love me love me love me, boy you love me love me love, didn't know what love was till you knocked on my door."

In the auditorium, Carina wore a short pink shirt, blue jeans with her hair straight down, as she continued to sing on the stage. "Say you love me love me love me, you love me love me love., didn't know what love was, until you love me love me love me, but yeah you love me love me love me, boy you love me love me love, didn't know what love was till you knocked on my door, you love me love me love me, you love me love me love., didn't know what love was, until you love me love me love me, but yeah you love me love me love me, boy you love me love me love, didn't know what love was till you knocked on my door."

Carina looked at the picture she had with Gunner, she smiled and folded it up into squares. She looked in the mirror on her locker and smiled and closed it.

Levi sat down in the classroom as he began to daydream, and had difficulties paying attention.

I'll admit it guys, ever since what happened in the locker room when I was trying to bring Chuck back, I've seriously became attracted to Gunner. At lunch today, I looked at him from afar, and he gave me a little smile, and I smiled back. Did I mention that the way he smiles is just so freaking.. fill in the blank.

The three problems is, number one, he's straight, number three, I'm still considered as Dougie's boyfriend, number three, if I did date him, I would take Carina's sloppy seconds, but to be honest, I don't care, I can be able to get what I want WHEN I want it, right? Of course.

Now, I'll admit, Gunner was a little weird to me last year, but it seems ever since he joined the football team, Jesus Christ, he's got hotter. Now, I don't want to play that guy who just snatches him away and just take him like that, it takes time, you have to make friends with him, try to like everything he likes, go wherever he goes, that's my plan.

Levi suddenly gave a devilish smirk, as he thought about it. Levi Stefan LaShane, you're a genius.

In the hallways, Cheyenne was in her lockers, and as she grabbed her things, she heard a familiar voice, sounded a bit sexy, but sounded a little sarcastic at the same time. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Cheyenne,"

Cheyenne slowly turned around, and saw a boy with short, dirty blonde hair, a leather jacket with a black and white striped t-shirt, and ripped jeans. Cheyenne gave a second glimpse at him in shock. "Cl-Cl-Clyde, what are you doing here?"

"Wow, no hello, no screaming or hugging," Clyde said. "I thought you would have missed me, dudette,"

"Don't try to innocent and naive now, what happened in the past happened in the past, I'm over it, you're over it," Cheyenne shrugged.

"So, you're telling me, you're just gonna forget about what we had," Clyde snapped his finger. "Just like that?"

"Clyde, what are you doing here?" Cheyenne said. "Why are you even in Ohio?" "I'm a student at Carmel High now, Vocal Adrenaline lead," Clyde crossed his arms and leaned on the locker next to him. "Just came here to wish you guys luck, I forgot you ever came to this school,"

"As a freshman," Cheyenne said. "But why do you care, it was one year after what happened between us and it is something I don't want to bring up."

"Cheyenne, I know you still miss me, it's only been 4 years since we haven't seen each other," Clyde said, without any sympathy or emotion, just sarcasm.

"And you know, somehow I like it that way," Cheyenne said. "I've been better without you and I really don't miss being with you at all, I hated that rollercoaster,"

"Yeah, but remember the rollercoaster you rode on in my bedroom that night, you hated that?" Clyde asked, he bit his lip and tried hard to push Cheyenne to a point. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, "Yeah, that rollercoaster was worn out, short and outdated," Cheyenne shook her head and walked away from Clyde, he evilly laughed and said, "Oh, yeah, McLarson, it's definitely on this year,"

Isabel was watching Cheyenne's every move and she quickly ran to follow her, she turned around to look at Clyde and she bit her lip. "So, who was that hottie you were talking to?"

"Oh, wouldn't you like to know, you flirt with everyone's exes don't you?" Cheyenne said, nodding her head in disbelief.

"I only do it because it's what I'm good at," Isabel said, with a smirk on her face. Cheyenne turned around, smiling. "You know what else you can be good at, it's pretty easy,"

"Really, what's that?" Isabel asked. Cheyenne talked sweetly and sarcastically, "Mind your own business and kiss my ass," She walked away from Isabel, and she nodded her head, mouthing words, "Bitches like her these days,"

Mr. Schuester walked in proudly with Colton and Candace on both sides of his arms. They smiled as they walked in, waving at New Directions. "Well, guys, here are our new members of the club!"

Everyone gave a round of applause for them. "It's gonna be a great year with you guys, I can just feel it," Mr. Schuester said. Colton and Candace gave one short glimpse and went to the empty seats near.

Mr. Schuester grabbed a stool and sat across from everyone, and then he spotted Claira, who looked depressed, devastated and remorseful. Mr. Schuester raised one eyebrow, confused of with what was wrong.

"Claira, are you okay?" Mr. Schuester asked. Claira looked up, weary with bags under her eyes and her hair crumbled into a weak ponytail. "Does it look like I'm okay? I'm nothing but trash,"

Colton and Candace looked at each other confused and turned back around. Mr. Schuester sighed and sympathetically looked at Claira, "Is this about Alex leaving?"

Claira suddenly smiled, sarcastically but the look on her face was as if she was serious. "Oh, gosh, well, Alex's gone, told her something, she left out of the blue, oh, of course it's about her,"

"Claira, what is going on with you?" Anna asked. "You're acting seriously weird today, you've never been like this since, well, your first time in New Directions,"

"I don't want to talk about it," Claira sat down with her arms crossed and her legs crossed, trying to refuse to open up. Levi sat, ignoring Claira's actions, and as he turned around, Gunner was only 4 chairs away from him, as he sat next to Carina and Addison on one side, Gunner sat next to A.J., Charlie and Denzil.

Gunner slowly turned around, and Levi smiled, slowly bit his lip, but quickly waved back. Gunner uncomfortably waved back, raising an eyebrow and giving a confused smile.

Gunner slowly pushed back to Charlie, who was paying attention to what Mr. Schuester was talking about in the background. "Dude, I think Levi just checked me out,"

Charlie looked at Levi and looked back at Gunner, and he gave a short snicker, "You and Levi, come on, bro,"

"He just awkwardly looked over here, smiling at me, and I'm pretty sure he bit his lip," Gunner said.

"Yeah, I believe that too," Charlie nodded his head, laughing softly. "Maybe you thought he was doing that, I don't think Levi would do anything like that, he's like totally naive, plus, he's still with Dougie,"

"Name one day in Glee Club when he has ever brought up Dougie's motorcycle accident," Gunner said.

Charli, attempted to think about it, and he shook his head, "I guess you got a point, you don't think this look is just to try to get over that issue, do you?"

"I don't know," Gunner shrugged. "But I think this new look thing is all about getting a piece of me, and you know, if it's true, I'll let him get a piece of me, I'll give him a little flirt or something like that to see what he does,"

"Dude, but you're not even--" Charlie tried to explain, but Gunner shook his head, "Ah ah ah, I got this, dude, trust me, I've seen dudes like him before trying to get a piece of me, he'll get it," Gunner gave an evil smirk at first, but as he looked at Levi, Gunner looked at the side of his face, and nodded.

"So, we compete against the Dalton Academy Warblers this year," Cheyenne said as she sat next to Elizabeth, Addison and Carina at a short lunch table. "It doesn't mean that they're gonna win."

"I feel as if they are more competition to us than The McKinley Rebels were last year," Carina said.

Cheyenne took a sip from her Pepsi can. "Nah, we were huge competition to you guys, let's be real, I mean, the look on Chuck's face."

"Well, I'm sure Vocal Adrenaline will be the biggest competition for you guys," Clyde's voice entered through their table. Cheyenne sighed, rolled her eyes and turned around, and sarcastically smiled, "And you're still here,"

"Just wanted to say hello to the ladies before I left," Clyde crossed his arms and smiled at the girls. Carina looked at both Elizabeth and Addison, and smiled back.

"Of course, I forgot, you're the "ladies" man," Cheyenne nodded, and said sarcastically. Clyde walked closer to the girls, and gave out his hand to Elizabeth. "Hi, you must be Elizabeth,"

Clyde walked to Carina and shook her hand, "You must be Carina, love, I saw you on that freak show of yours, too bad you couldn't make it through, maybe you just weren't that good enough," Carina's smile turned into a serious expression, "Excuse me?"

"Don't.. mind him," Cheyenne said. "He's always like this, so, just go with the flow," Carina mouthed a word under her breath, "Urg, I'll stop his flow, below the belt,"

"And you must be Addison Lee, Karin told me a lot about you, she talks about you almost everyday now," Clyde replied. Addison looked at Clyde, then looked in disbelief.

Carina randomly put out, "She still exists?"

"Now, overall, the reason I'm here, is because I'm trying to win your little best friend here back with me again, just like the old days," Clyde said. Carina chuckled out of nowhere, "Help you, right?"

"Clyde, I don't want you back, dude, we were so 4 years ago, can't you just get over the past?" Cheyenne said.

"How can I get over the past when you're stuck in my present?" Clyde said. Cheyenne shook her head and sighed, "I guess I have to every little thing, huh, I have to put it in a song for you,"

Cheyenne walked to a random boy near him, who was suddenly tapping on a table, she patted him, and said, "Give me a beat,"

When the boy gave out the beat, she looked at Clyde straight forward and sang, "I remember when we broke up the first time, saying, "This is it, I've had enough," 'cause like, we hadn't seen each other in a month when you said you needed space. What?"

The students in the cafeteria looked as she sang the song, and suddenly a boy who had a guitar with him for band practice, took it out and played the tune of the song. Cheyenne continued to sing, "Then you come around again and say "Baby, I miss you and I swear I'm gonna change, trust me." Remember how that lasted for a day? I say, "I hate you," we break up, you call me, "I love you.""

Carina, Addison and Elizabeth smiled at each other and sang along, "Ooh ooh ooh,"

"We called it off again last night, but oooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you," Cheyenne sang. She stood up on an empty table, having the whole students in the cafeteria clap as she sang. Carina, Addison and Elizabeth stood up, singing along, "We are never ever ever getting back together, we are never ever ever getting back together, you go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me, but we are never ever ever ever getting back together,"

Cheyenne looked at Clyde with a smirk, as of a "how do you like me now," Clyde shook his head and gave a short smile. "I'm really gonna miss you picking fights and me, falling for it screaming that I'm right and you, would hide away and find your peace of mind, with some indie record that's much cooler than mine,"

"Oooh," Carina, Addison and Elizabeth sang.

"You called me up again tonight, but oooh, this time I'm telling you, I'm telling you," Cheyenne sang.

All of the girls, including the Cheerios, stood out, walking near Cheyenne and the 3 girls, singing along. "We are never ever ever getting back together, we are never ever ever getting back together, you go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me, but we are never ever ever ever getting back together,"

"Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh," All of the girls sang.

Clyde crossed his arms, watching Cheyenne from above, she jumped down a table and walked to Clyde, "I used to think that we were forever ever and I used to say, "Never say never...""

Cheyenne turned around to the girls, saying, "Uggg, so he calls me up and he's like, "I still love you," and I'm like... "I just... I mean this is exhausting, you know, like,, we are never getting back together. Like, ever""

After that, Cheyenne had everyone in the cafeteria singing the song, and they were dancing along, and repeating the chorus. "We are never ever ever getting back together, we are never ever ever getting back together, you go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me, but we are never ever ever ever getting back together,"

Carina, Addison and Elizabeth all stood on tables, singing along, and Cheyenne continued to sing, "We, ohhh, getting back together, ohhh, we, ohhh, getting back together,"

"You go talk to your friends, talk to my friends, talk to me, but we are never ever ever ever getting back together," Cheyenne ended the song, and jumped off the table, until she bumped into Principal Figgins, her eyes were in shock, and as he said, "In my office, now,"

Clyde snickered, sarcastically waving at Cheyenne, she put her middle finger up at him and walked away with Figgins.

Alex made her way through the Lima Bean, as she saw Shannon walk past, she quickly turned around and yelled out her name. Alex ran to Shannon with joy and gave her a hug.

"Oh my god, I miss you already, girl," Shannon said. "It's not the same without you there telling me to shut up about muffins everyday,"

"Yeah, I kind of miss New Directions already," Alex said. "Care to talk?"

"Of course," Shannon and Alex grabbed a seat near the door entrance and exit of the Lima Bean. As Shannon suddenly grabbed packs of sugar, her hands suddenly were shaking. Alex quickly looked up and touched her hand, trying to stop her.

"You all right?" Alex said. Shannon looked at her arm, and she looked up, preferably jittery, sorry, just have been shivering outside, it's been way too cold for me,"

"But it's like 80 degrees outside, and it's not even that cold out yet," Alex said. "Are you sure there isn't anything wrong?"

Shannon looked up at Alex, and nodded, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course," Shannon's expression on her face showed fear and guilt.

"So, how's that --" Alex tried to continue her question, but the thought of her name causes her to feel disappointment. "That Claira doing,"

"She's totally stressed out, ever since you left, all she's been ever doing was looking down and sad like she wants to die," Shannon said.

"Well, maybe I wouldn't have left her if she didn't tell me at first hand, I've been gone for a week and my heart is still broken from that day," Alex said.

Shannon looked up, "Do you think you could be able to talk to her again?"

"To be honest, I don't know," Alex said. "I don't know what my life will have in store for me, what to do, what to say, how to say and how to do. I don't want to live my life being neglected and nor do I want to be a lesbian teenage mother of a child that's not even mine."

"At least talk to her, she really misses you, Alex, Claira does care about you, she only made a mistake, and if it was me, I would find it difficult to say for one of my closest friends, because everyone's not perfect, just talk to her,"

Alex looked away, still feeling hurt while Shannon told her down, she sighed and put her hands on her forehead. _____________________________________

After Levi left out from a teacher's room after finishing up absent work, Gunner spotted him as he walked closer, he gave a smirk and followed where he went. Levi walked to the front door outside of the school and Gunner blocked his way, smiling. "What's up, Levi?"

Levi stood there, not knowing what to say, he smiled, "Um, hey, Gunner, w-what's up?"

"I just wanted to know a couple of things," Gunner said, moving back to a locker with his hands in his pocket. "I mean, I know what happened before when I yelled at you. I know it was wrong, I apologize for that,"

"It's not really a problem." Levi said. "I'm over it anyway, I don't really hold grudges, but what did you want to know?"

Gunner took a deep breath, although it seems like he was acting, "Well, I was wondering, me and you haven't really talked a lot, and I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out sometime tonight, I was actually going to go to this karaoke place tonight called The Den."

"Um, I don't know actually, I'm kind of busy all of the time," Levi shrugged, and as Gunner was continuing to talk, he couldn't help but picture Gunner out of his clothes, he saw his abs and couldn't help but bite his lip, he fantasized and slowly looked at the way Gunner's lips moved as he talked, all of a sudden, he felt something down below his belt, as he snapped out of the fantasy, as he looked down, his, well, whatcha-ma-call-it, pointed out, his eyes widened.

"Levi?" Gunner looked at Levi and gave a glimpse, and as Levi continued to look down, Gunner slowly looked down to see, and he looked back up, squinting his eyes in remorse. "OK, I'll just forget about that," Gunner said. "So, will you go?"

Levi started to stutter, "Um, um, yeah, sure," he tried to forget about what happened, and smiled. Gunner smiled back, patting his back and slowly rubbing his hand off of his shoulder as he walked away, Levi squinted his eyes, as he felt the warmth of Gunner's hands transfer through his shirt down to his skin. Gunner walked away and looked up confused and stopped, and randomly asked himself, "Did I just give him a boner? Awkward."

That night, Levi and Gunner headed to The Den, and as Gunner drove his truck to the lot. Levi looked at Gunner and turned back to the place. "So, this is the place?"

"Yep," Gunner said, nodding his head in interest. "I mean, I see by the look on your face, it kind of looks like a club, but trust me, when you get inside, you'll think differently," Levi looked scared at first, "I hope so,"

Gunner looked at Levi, moving one inch closer, "Lev, I'm here with you, don't worry, man," Levi looked at the way Gunner looked at him, and he tried to fight himself not to say anything, he gave a half-smile, and Gunner lead his way out of the truck, "Come on, let's go inside,"

Addison picked up her feet as she laid on her stomach flat on Elizabeth's bed, she kicked them back and forth as she was in the room. "I'm kind of annoyed about this Karin stuff already,"

"Seems like she wants you back," Elizabeth walked in, dressed up as if she was going somewhere, she wore a tight pink shirt with designs and skinny jeans that went down to her toes.

"But I don't want her back, that's the thing," Addison said. "I'm just good being my single Addison self and the thing that also annoys me is that she talks about me all of the time to Vocal Adrenaline, am I that popular?"

"Obsession alert," Elizabeth said as she looked in the mirror and put on red lipstick, she straightened her hair quickly. Addison shook her head in disbelief, "I bet she'll end up stalking me to death,"

"Be careful with what you wish for, Adds," Elizabeth grabbed her leather jacket and her pink purse. Addison looked up at Elizabeth, "Where are you going?"

"Just some free time with Charlie, that's all," Elizabeth said. "Going to this new place called The Den,"

"And you couldn't even invite me?" Addison said. "Yeah, I feel the love, totally, totally feel the love, Liz,"

"You can still go," Elizabeth shrugged. "I'm sorry that you're forever alone,"

"Take that back," Addison said. Elizabeth chuckled, "I'm just kidding, if you want to grab a coat, join,"

"Nah, I'm good," Addison replied back. "I'm just gonna live off of rocky road ice cream and the left over cake in the fridge,"

"Suit yourself," Elizabeth said. "I'll be back later, save some ice cream," Elizabeth walked out of the room, and Addison sighed and laid flat on her back on the bed, and sighed. "Why am I always in bad relationships?" She said to herself.

As Levi and Gunner made their entrance at The Den, Levi was amazed, everyone in side danced to the upbeat, dubstep-style music. Inside there was a restaurant on one side, and as they walked in, there was a small, but big stage, with chairs and a karaoke machine.

"Wow," Levi looked around and smiled at Gunner, he smiled back, "See, what did I tell ya, it's not that bad," Levi smiled, and Gunner smiled back once again, but all of a sudden, Gunner quickly gazed into Levi's eyes, and looked away. "Come on, let's get something to drink,"

"Oh, I don't drink," Levi stopped as Gunner pulled his hand gently. "I'm pretty servile when it comes to my parents' rules,"

"Oh, no, not those drinks," Gunner said. "Just like a Coke, Iced Tea, everything, really,"

When they went to the seats near the counter, Charlie and Elizabeth walked in. "Hmm, I never even thought that from a weak looking store in the past that it would turn out to this, this is awesome,"

"Grand opening day," Charlie winked at Elizabeth and gave her a kiss, and after that, Elizabeth looked around the place and spotted Levi and Gunner. "Isn't that Levi and Gunner?"

"I guess so," Charlie said, trying to be quiet, realizing that what Gunner told him was true, he was trying to let Levi get a piece of him, but from the looks of it, as they were laughing and smiling at each other, as they grabbed their drinks, Charlie believed that it was the opposite. He believed that he was trying to get a piece of Levi himself, and this made him more suspicious of who he was.

Elizabeth and Charlie walked to Levi and Gunner, smiling, but Charlie tried to act like nothing was wrong. "Oh, well, look who's here," Elizabeth said.

Gunner turned around, and Levi did the same and smiled. "Hey, guys, what are you doing here?"

"Ah, we just came to check the new place out, everyone's been talking about it, so we said, what the hey," Elizabeth smiled. "What are you guys doing here? I've never seen you guys hang out together,"

Levi and Gunner looked at each other and looked back. "Oh, well, I just decided that, you know, we should form a friendship, so, yeah, seems as if we're here now,'

"That's cool," Charlie said sarcastically as he shook his head, giving a smirk at Gunner, who looked back, confused.

"So, we were gonna take a tour around The Den, since we're all here, why don't you guys come with us?"

"Oh, um, actually, I'm OK," Gunner smiled, and Levi replied in agreeement, "Yeah, I'm fine,"

Charlie shrugged, "Ah, well, see you guys around, I guess," Charlie and Elizabeth walked away, and Elizabeth slowly whispered, "I think something is going on between them," Charlie nodded his head, shrugged and continued to walk past.

Levi and Gunner stood, quietly, trying to figure out what to say to each other, but it was so difficult, because all they could do is look at each other. Levi looked at Gunner, and he smiled,

Just look at him, the way his lips look, why am I suddenly liking him just now? Carina doesn't know what she's missing, she should have done right by this guy, I just wish he was into me as much as I'm into him, but question, if something happens between us, will this end up like the Chuck-Dougie situation I was told about? Probably, maybe not. All I just want to do is put my hands around his body. Excuse me for the sexual nature, but I can't help it, ever since the locker room, all I've been doing is fantasizing about everything about him, well except for the private parts, if you know what I mean. I just wish I could have a chance at him, but I know that'll never happen.

Gunner did the same thing, he gazed into Levi's eyes, and he narrated, I'm not gay nor am I bisexual, I don't have a problem with neither, but doing this goes against my own religion. I'm a Christian, and my family is really strict on it, but I have to be honest, ever since tonight, I'm suddenly feeling something for him, I mean, thinking this plan would work, I just want to hide what I feel for him, pretend that nothing's gonna happen. Just look at him, those blue eyes, his now-turned black hair style, it's pretty hot if you ask me. Wait, what am I saying? Shut up, Gunner. You know, maybe Charlie was right, maybe I can't do this, maybe it's just not my type of thing. I don't know what to do or say right now.

Levi stood up, "Maybe we should do karaoke now?" Gunner looked at the stage and back at Levi, "Are you sure, I mean, us singing together?"

"Well, I mean, we did sing a duet together before, it's not like we haven't done it," Levi said, chuckling.

Gunner chuckled, and smiled, "Sure, why not, of course we do make great duet partners because our voices almost match, even though yours is a tad bit higher and I'm just a--" Levi interrupted Gunner by pulling him up to walk up the stage.

The crowd stood watching them as they walked to the stage, and a man walked to them, smiling, "Hmm, seems like we got a same-sex couple with us tonight, huh?" The crowd cheered with each other, and Gunner and Levi looked at each other in confusion, Gunner chuckled in fear, "Oh, no, no, no, we, we, we aren't a couple, sir,"

"This is what the stage is for," The man said. "The stage is for couples only, and I guess that makes you a couple,"

"Gunner, what did I just get myself into?" Levi asked. "Just go with the flow, Lev," Gunner sighed. The man yelled out, "Now, let the performance begin!" The crowd cheered. Charlie and Elizabeth were in the background watching them, shaking their heads, "They do look like a nice couple to me," Charlie said. Elizabeth chuckled and gave him a nudge on the chest.

Gunner and Levi looked at each other, and then nervously looked at the crowd, and then they looked at the karaoke machine and it put out "Beautiful Freaks" sung by Hot Chelle Rae.

Gunner smiled, "Beautiful Freaks, now that's what I'm talking about," Levi smiled and grabbed the microphone near. Levi sang, "All you beautiful freaks, just grab somebody and light the place up, light the place up, yeah,"

"If you're a beautiful freak, no sleep, light the place up, light the place up, yeah," Gunner sang.

Gunner and Levi sang, the crowd began to clap their hands, and Charlie shook his head in disbelief.

"Down town spin it around," Levi sang. "Speakers about to blow out, I cant keep my feet on the ground, feet on the ground, yeah," Gunner stood and moved closer to him with the microphone, and Levi did the same, and they both sang, "And it's you next to me, livin super fast blowin' daddy's cash, call the cops, close the streets, cause this house about to burn down,"

"All you beautiful freaks, just grab somebody and light the place up, light the place up, yeah, if you're a beautiful freak, no sleep, light the place up, light the place up, yeah," Levi and Gunner sang. "Oh ohhh, oh, oh ohhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh,"

"Check, set, goin hardcore, crash in through back door," Gunner sang. "Rich girl gimme some more, yeah," Until then, it looked as if a magnet stuck Levi and Gunner's faces together, gazing at each other, smiling, as they sang, "And it's you next to me, livin super fast blowin daddy's cash, call the cops, close the streets, cause this house about to burn down,"

"So get in where you fit in, I'ma keep on grinnin' like a politician up on the stage," Levi sang.

"Elixir in the mixer, it's a temporary fixture when you livin in this crazy parade," Gunner sang.

"All you beautiful freaks, just grab somebody and light the place up, light the place up, yeah, if you're a beautiful freak, no sleep, light the place up, light the place up, yeah," Levi and Gunner sang. "Oh ohhh, oh, oh ohhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh, oh, oh, oh, ohhh," Gunner and Levi danced their way to the middle, and they sang,

"Beautiful freaks," Gunner sang.

"Beautiful freaks,' Levi sang.

"Beautiful freaks," Gunner sang.

"Beautiful freaks," Levi ended the song as he and Gunner were close to each other, gazing into each other's eyes as if they felt something, and after that a burst of cheers filled the Den. Gunner and Levi turned around and smiled and took a bow, while Charlie shook his head and clapped for them.

______________________________

Levi and Gunner laughed as they made their exit out of The Den. "I can't believe they really thought we were a couple," Levi said. Gunner shook his head in disbelief, "I thought it was free-for-all,"

"Anyways, I had a fun time," Levi said. "Thanks for taking me here, it kind of gets my mind off of some serious things," Gunner smiled, "Not a problem at all, I honestly did have a lot of fun with you,"

Levi smiled as they got into the car, when Gunner landed inside the driver's seat, and Levi sat in the passengers' seat, Levi's teeth began to shiver all of a sudden, and when Gunner tried to start the engine, it refused to respond to the signal, he tried again, and it failed. "Damn it, when it gets cold, it takes 5-6 minutes for it to work, I hate my truck,"

Gunner slowly looked at Levi, and saw him shivering constantly. The sympathy slowly fell out of Gunner, as he took off his jacket, "You're cold?"

Levi nodded his head, "It's ok-k-k-k, I'll be fine, I'm sure," Levi started to rub himself and rock back and forth. Gunner slowly wrapped his leather jacket around Levi and tried to keep him warm, he tried to resist pushing anything further, but he failed, he slowly moved to touch him. Levi felt the warmth of Gunner's hands, and as that happened, all he could do was grab his hand tightly and softly touch it back and forth to keep warm.

"Are my hands warm for you?" Gunner said, looking up to Levi after gazing down their hands connecting, Levi nodded, his grip showed that he didn't want to let go. "Could you hold me a little tighter?"

Gunner, at first, hesitated, but the look on Levi's face gave more sympathy, flashing back to a time where he had no one to hold or to console him in the cold. He nodded his head, and looked to see if anyone came near, and he locked one arm to Levi's left arm, rubbing his warmth on Levi's skin. The touch and the feeling caused Levi no harm, he felt as if Dougie never had done that for him, to keep him consoled and warm, Gunner suddenly felt comfortable holding Levi's arms.

"Can I just be honest with you, Gunner?" Levi said, still shivering from the chills. Gunner looked at him, and nodded, "Sure, go for it, bud,"

"I can't help but just tell you how I feel right now," Levi said, he kept shivering. "But by the looks on your face today and tonight, I assumed that you think this was obvious,"

"What is it?" Gunner said.

"Gunner, I think that I'm attracted to you," Levi said. "Please don't be upset or uncomfortable around me," Gunner looked at Levi, and then looked back down, thinking about what he said.

"I just never felt like this before with a person like you, ever since I met Dougie, I wanted to be as faithful, I just -- I don't know if you will or ever will feel the same about me, because you're straight, and I -- k-k-know that you wouldn't be interested in me," Levi said. Gunner tried to hide the emotions that were going through his head, but he sighed, and replied back.

"I try to be normal around you, Levi, but, ever since today, I can't." Gunner said, Levi looked at Gunner slowly. "It's just so confusing, and I'm scared that if I share how I feel about you, it'll ruin what I've been so far this year, and it'll go against my beliefs, I just don't know what to think,"

"If, if I was a girl, would you be confused?" Levi asked, and Gunner, who was a little more closer to him, the cool and minty scent of his breath, passed through Levi's face as he said, "No,"

Levi and Gunner gazed into each others eyes for the last time, until Gunner irresistibly touched Levi's cheek with his left hand, and he couldn't help but move in for a soft kiss. At first, Levi was shocked with the fact that Gunner made the move, he then kissed back, feeling the chemistry between them as they felt the spark, Levi planted his right hand slowly and trembling to Gunner's cheek. Gunner moved out of the kiss, pulling Levi down to the bottom of the passenger's seat, taking part as he continued to kiss him. Gunner slowly unbuttoned Levi's jean jacket, which didn't give enough power to keep him warm, and lifted up his AC/DC plain shirt, and put warmth on his body, Levi continued to kiss back as he went inside Gunner's t-shirt and felt the texture of his skin and his abs as he continued to kiss him.

Gunner aggressively took off his shirt and Levi took off his. Nobody was in sight at the time and luckily, they parked at a good place where no one could see. They continued to kiss each other as the dawn officially turned to the night.

The next morning, everyone in school began to watch as Cheyenne passed through with her hair put in a ponytail, wearing tight jeans and a long sleeved black and white striped shirt. Suddenly, Isabel, on the way, tried to follow her. "Hey, McLarson,"

Cheyenne rolled her eyes, "What do you want, now, Almendarez?"

"Just wanted to follow you around, you know, try to fit in your shoes for a bit," Isabel smiled. Cheyenne stomped her left foot and her right foot as she turned around. "What do you want from me?"

"I just want to be like you," Isabel crossed her arms and smiled. As if a record had scratched, Cheyenne turned around quickly, surprised, "You want to be like me? Really?"

"Of course," Isabel said. "I mean, look at you, you have the style, the clothes, the looks, who wouldn't want to be like you,"

Cheyenne gloated, and shook her head, "Hmm, you're pretty right about that, but if you want to be like me, you will have to do one single thing, just take out your --"

"Handy-dandy notebook," Isabel smiled as she took it out. Cheyenne raised an eyebrow and randomly asked, "Do you watch Blue's Clues? Because if you do, I want to introduce you to someone who does watch it,"

"Just tell me what I should do," Isabel said. Cheyenne nodded, "Just join New Directions, my Glee Club,"

Isabel scoffed, "Wait, you mean that High School Musical crap," She sarcastically laughed, nodding her head, "You have got to be kidding me, girl,"

"Well, I guess you won't be able to be like me, sorry," Cheyenne walked away with a smirk, and Isabel rolled her eyes, "Really?"

"You did what?" Charlie's eyes widened as he sat in the empty locker room as he and Gunner were the only last one inside, after the rest had left. "I know, I know," Gunner looked down, trying hard to face Charlie's reaction, he sighed. Charlie nodded his head, "I knew that was going to happen all along, I had a feeling, if that was me, my ass would have ran, wouldn't even care how cute or naive he is,"

"Charlie, you just don't understand," Gunner tried to finish his statement, but Charlie interrupted, "I understand that you're gonna ruin your reputation if anyone finds out, I suggest that you stay far away from Levi and keep your mouth shut about it,"

"No, I just can't do that, Charlie, I couldn't help it, it was all me, I made the first move. But it's just what he said to be, it got to me, it really did, those words he said to me, Carina and Addison have never said to me when we first met," Gunner said. "He asked if I was a girl, would I be confused, I said no, and just then, I almost had sex with Levi,"

"You almost had sex with Levi?" Charlie raised an eyebrow, "What the hell?"

"Even though I didn't want it to happen, definitely didn't, Levi definitely didn't, though, he was into kissing me and touching me, but he had to remember his vows,"

"This is exactly what you get when you make plans like this," Charlie said. "I've been through it all, dude, I don't dig boys and that's my final conclusion to you,"

"You know, I may not have the same sexuality as Levi, or maybe A.J., or Denzil or Dougie or whoever, but I'm not homophobic like you're acting right now,"

"I'm not being homophobic, dude, I'm just standing up for my religion, you, dude, just crossed the line,"

"And so you think that I'm going to hell because I did something wrong that I know I should have done?" Gunner said. "Why is religion put in this conversation anyway? I'm a Christian and I know what I did was wrong, but you're freaking judging me for this and I expected you to give me more better advice than the bullcrap you're giving me now,"

"I'm just trying to help you, dude," Charlie said.

"No, you aren't, you're judging me right off the bat over something I know I did wrong, but I had my reasons and my desires for making out with Levi, and to be honest, I don't care what you say, but don't judge me," Gunner slammed out of the locker room and Charlie looked as he walked away and shook his head. Coach Michaels came from behind, "What was that all about?"

"Long story, Coach," Charlie said.

When Gunner walked in to the hallways, he was seeing things that weren't meant to be. Candles surrounded the hallways, and a huge cross stood against the final wall of the hallway. Gunner walked slowly, singing, "Taxi driver, be my shrink for the hour, leave the meter running, it's rush hour, so take the streets if you wanna, just outrun the demons, could you?"

"He said "allahu akbar", I told him don't curse me, "But boy you need prayer", I guess it couldn't hurt me, if it brings me to my knees, it's a bad religion,"

Students stood as if they were citadels, standing still as Gunner continued to walk around, he looked around, and fell into a sweat, "This unrequited love to me it's nothing but a one-man cult and cyanide in my styrofoam cup, I could never make him love me, never make him love me, love, love..."

The students on each side of the walls began to clap, Gunner became paranoid and scared as he walked through.

"Taxi driver, I swear I've got three lives balanced on my head like steak knives, I can't tell you the truth about my disguise, I can't trust no one and you say "allahu akbar", I told him don't curse me, "But boy you need prayer", I guess it couldn't hurt me, if it brings me to my knees, it's a bad religion,"

"This unrequited love to me it's nothing but a one-man cult and cyanide in my styrofoam cup, I could never make him love me, never make him love me, love, love, no, no, aah,"

"It's a bad religion to be in love with someone who could never love you, only bad, only bad religion could have me feeling the way I do," Gunner was panting, sweating and out of breath, as he finally made it to the cross, he looked up, and went down on his knees, and after, he heard his name being called constantly, in different voices.

He looked around, and all he saw was the students in hoods on their heads, trying to surround him. "No, get away, get away from me, no!"

"Gunner, come with us, we want you," The people said in an eerie voice, sweat pourned all down his face, he was paranoid and couldn't move or get away, "Stop!" He kept on hearing his name and after, it turned out that he was still in the locker room with Charlie, "Gunner!"

Gunner snapped out of the dream, "Are you OK, man, you don't feel so good," All of a sudden, Gunner struggled to cope with Gunner, he began to feel dizzy, as he slowly fainted on the floor.

Charlie quickly ran to Gunner as he fainted, he yelled out his name, "Gunner, Gunner, oh my god, man, someone help!"

Coach Michaels quickly ran in the locker room side. "What's going on, Holden?"

"Gunner just fainted!" Charlie put his hands over his head.

"Oh my," Michaels went to Gunner, trying to see what was wrong, "Oh, my god, sweetheart, Charlie, go get the nurse, please," Charlie quickly ran out of the locker room.

_________________________

"Oh my god, is he okay?" Cheyenne asked in shock as everyone looked sympathetic for Gunner as they gathered in the room. Mr. Schuester stood, nodding, "I'm sure he'll be fine, it was just frustration,"

Levi looked remorseful, after he flashed back to when Levi and Gunner continued to kiss each other, he looked down, squinting his eyes, "What have I done?" He said to himself.

I'll admit something, what happened last night, I never expected it to happen, it just did. I just hate keeping things from people, that's like one of the things I don't like doing, and I couldn't help it, and what Gunner said to me that night, I knew he was struggling with the fact that I was a guy, but the way he touched me, made me feel warm and comfortable, I've never gotten anything like that from Dougie, and that's all I've ever wanted when Dougie was gone. I just hope this doesn't put anything between us, I really had a great time with Gunner last night.

"Mr. Schuester, may I please be excused?" Levi looked down in depression, and Mr. Schuester gave a confused look, "Um, yeah, sure, Levi,"

Levi grabbed his things from the bottom of his chair and stormed out of the choir room, Carina was confused of why he left, and she stayed there, shaking her head and focusing back on Mr. Schuester.

"Now, I don't want to change the subject this quickly, but I just really want us to focus on trying to work things out as a family, now that Ruby, Colton and Candace have joined we have to help them adapt to being in Glee Club," Mr. Schuester said. "Now with Chuck gone, it's kind of weird for us, I think having more members would help our problem,"

"Mr. Schuester, must I say that I do believe that we have enough, I mean, we already know Chuck's refusing to come back, but what's the point of adding more members, then more of us will have difficulties sharing the spotlight," A.J. said.

"So, I guess I won't be able to join in?" A voice said from behind, Isabel walked inside, and she spotted Cheyenne quickly and winked. Cheyenne crossed her arms and gave a smirk.

"Isabel Almendarez," Mr. Schuester smiled. "Well, I'll be, from before, all I could remember was you talking bad about us from the day new members joined,"

Isabel chuckled, and nodded, "Well, I guess I had a change of heart," Isabel once again looked at Cheyenne and gave a smirk, and looked back at Mr. Schuester.

He smiled, "Well, um, I'm sure we are more than welcome to let you join us this year," Isabel gave a big grin, and Cheyenne rolled her eyes. "You can have a seat if you'd like,"

There was total silence after, as Isabel walked to the empty space next to Cheyenne and she smiled and whispered, "See, I told you being like you is a piece of cake,"

Cheyenne sarcastically replied, "Oh, sure," and rolled her eyes.

Gunner was in the nurse's office, the nurse gave him a wet cloth as he held it to cool him off, "You were just a little stressed, sweetheart, maybe you can get some rest, if anything else happens, you know where I am," The nurse smiled at Gunner and he unemotionally said, "Thanks,"

Gunner walked out as he took off the cloth and gave it to the nurse, as he walked out, all of the things flew around his head again, but he struggled not to faint or do anything, but as Levi, angrily, walking down the halls, passed him by, Gunner slowly looked back, and then, Levi looked back, and he sighed, turned back around and continued to walk his path.

Gunner felt as if he was trying to fight what he wanted to do, he wanted to tell Levi that he didn't want anything to happen between them, but at the same time, he couldn't get the picture of them kissing out of his head, he walked the opposite path and went on his way.

When school was officially at its dismissal time, Cheyenne walked out with her things on the side of her shoulder, as she walked through, Clyde suddenly stood leaning on the brick wall with his sneaker lifted up to the wall. "Finally, you've made it outside,"

"So, what are you, stalking me now?" Cheyenne said, walking closer to Clyde as he pushed off the wall. He smiled, chuckling, "I'm not stalking you, I'm just here to talk, that's all,"

"You're here to talk about what?" Cheyenne said. "Trying to win me back? Please don't make me sing outside, I'm really not in the mood,"

"Well, you just act like it's all my fault that you left me in our apartment, moved back to your parents' house and went to a new school," Clyde said. "What can it take for you just to forgive and forget,"

"I don't know about forgiving, but I know that I've forgotten," Cheyenne said. "I've forgotten about you, why can't you just realize that we can never be anymore. We're history,"

"I know it's hard for you to forget about me," Clyde said unemotionally, "I'm freaking Clyde Andrews,"

"Clyde Andrews, the jerk," Cheyenne nodded her head, after that, Ari had came to see Cheyenne, "Hey, babe, ready to go?"

Cheyenne was silent for a bit as she looked at Clyde, and then turned around and smiled at Ari, "Yeah, I am, let's go,"

Ari and Cheyenne walked away from Clyde, who shook his head, "Boyfriend," he mouthed under his breath. Cheyenne slowly turned back to see if Clyde was still standing there, and she turned back around, looking down as Ari put his arm around her shoulder as they walked. Cheyenne began to sing, "Baby, baby, when we first met, I never felt something so strong, you were like my lover and my best friend, all wrapped into one with a ribbon on it,"

Clyde walked closer away from the school building, as he saw Cheyenne and Ari continuing to walk with each other, he sang, "And all of a sudden, you went and left, I didn't know how to follow, it's like a shock that spun me around and now my heart's dead, I feel so empty and hollow,"

"And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to you, don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do you?" Cheyenne sang. "It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back and you're the one to blame,"

"And now I feel like, oh, you're the reason why I'm thinking, I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more," Cheyenne and Clyde sang. "I guess that's what I get for wishful thinking, should've never let you enter my door,"

"Next time you wanna go on and leave, I should just let you go on and do it, cause now I'm using like I bleed, it's like I checked into rehab, baby you're my disease, it's like I checked into rehab, baby you're my disease," Cheyenne sang. "I gotta check into rehab, baby you're my disease, I gotta check into rehab, baby you're my disease,"

"Damn, ain't it crazy when you're loveswept, you'll do anything for the one you love, cause anytime that you needed me, I'd be there, it's like you were my favorite drug," Clyde sang.

"The only problem is that you was using me in a different way that I was using you, but now that I know that it's not meant to be, you gotta go, I gotta wean myself off of you,"

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh," Clyde sang.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh," Cheyenne sang.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh," Clyde sang.

"Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh," Cheyenne sang.

"Oh, you're the reason why I'm thinking, I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more," Cheyenne and Clyde sang. "I guess that's what I get for wishful thinking, should've never let you enter my door,"

When Claira's parents weren't at home, Claira stood, depressed, eating food as she laid her feet on her living room couch watching cartoons. Until then, her doorbell rang, she slowly got up, and walked to the door to open it, and Peter stood there with a bouquet of roses, smiling.

Claira stood there, motionless, confused and shaking her head, "Peter, what are you doing here?"

"I just wanted to give you these," Peter moved closer, still smiling, while Claira, took him from the hand, and looked at them, shook her head and threw them on the ground and crossed her arms. Peter's smile turned into a frown, "B-b-but I thought all girls liked roses?"

"But not me," Claira said angrily, as she tried to walk back into the house, but Peter stopped her, "Wait, wait, wait, can we at least talk?"

"What is there to talk about, Peter?" Claira said. "There is nothing that we should talk about!"

"Our child?" Peter said, trying to persuade her with his eyes for her to talk to him. Claira rolled her eyes and sighed, "Damn it, Peter, what about my child?"

"I just really want this to work between us, I want to be a father to our child, I want to do anything I can to support him and I just really want to work things out with you," Peter said.

Claira scoffed and looked away, "Don't you think it's a little too late to be planning to do all of this now? Still, after what you said when I first told you I was pregnant, I could never trust you since then, and I never will,"

"My freaking father never took care of me, my mother did, I know what I said was wrong, but I am just willing to do what I can, Claira, I seriously am,"

"Just save it, Peter, please," Claira said. "It's too late to, I haven't even made my decision yet, just go, Peter,"

Peter sighed, nodded as if everything she said was okay. "Okay, fine, I'll go, but when you need someone to help, I'll be here," Peter walked away, in disappointment after Claira pushed him away, and she didn't feel the same, she watched as he walked away from her. As he passed, she began to sing,

"Come with me, stay the night, you say the words but boy it don't feel right, what do ya expect me to say, you know it's just too little too late,"

"You take my hand and you say you've changed, but boy you know your begging don't fool me, because to you it's just a game, you know it's just too little too late," Claira walked slowly back up into the house, and as she closed the door, she leaned on it. "So let me on down, cause time has made me strong, I'm starting to move on, I'm gonna say this now, your chance has come and gone and you know..."

"It's just too little too late, a little too wrong and I can't wait, but you know all the right things to say, you know it's just too little too late," Claira walked away from the door and she slowly walked upstairs to her bedroom.

"You say you dream of my face, but you don't like me, you just like the chase to be real, it doesn't matter anyway, you know it's just too little too late, yeah, it's just too little too late,"

"I was young and in love, I gave you everything but it wasn't enough and now you wanna communicate," Claira sat on her bed, thinking about Peter in doubt.

"You know it's just too little too late, go find someone else, I'm letting you go, I'm loving myself, you got a problem, but don't come asking me for help 'cause you know..."

"It's just too little too late, a little too wrong and I can't wait, but you know all the right things to say, you know it's just too little too late, you say you dream of my face, but you don't like me, you just like the chase to be real, it doesn't matter anyway, you know it's just too little too late,"

"I can love with all of my heart, baby, I know I have so much to give, I have so much to give. With a player like you I don't have a prayer, that's no way to live, ohhhh... mmm nooo, it's just too little too late, yeaahhhh.."

"It's just too little too late, a little too wrong and I can't wait, but you know all the right things to say, you know it's just too little too late, you say you dream of my face, but you don't like me, you just like the chase to be real, it doesn't matter anyway, you know it's just too little too late,"

"You know it's just too little too late," Claira sang. "You say you dream of my face, but you don't like me, you just like the chase to be real, it doesn't matter anyway, you know it's just too little too late," Claira sighed, and laid her body flat back on her bed.

Levi sat in the living room doing the same thing Claira did, and when she saw her father and her mother walking downstairs dressed up, "Okay, Lev, hon, we're leaving for the party tonight, be sure not to open the door for strangers, dinner's in the fridge." Leslie smiled, Levi shook his head, and Vincent smiled, "Later, son,"

"Bye," Levi didn't have anything to say to his parents, he was already stressed out dealing with his Gunner situation, when he was watching television downstairs, he was bored, watching an old romantic movie, and when he watched it, he began to hallucinate, in the dialogue a man and a woman were close to kissing each other, as they exchanged words.

"Oh, Donny, I love you," the woman said. "I just want to spend the rest of my life with you, you're all I've ever wanted,"

As Levi watched, he looked as if he was bored, and sooner or later, he looked as if something had happened, when he looked at the TV, all he saw was his and Gunner's faces, and they said the same thing to each other.

"Just kiss me," Levi said, playing the role as the woman. Gunner slowly moved in to kiss Levi, and after that, he shook out of it when he heard the doorbell rang.

Levi took a deep breath, "Okay, Levi, stop, you're just acting crazy now, acting completely crazy, it was only just from my imagination,"

Levi stood up and he walked to the door, and when he opened it slowly, all he saw was Dougie standing on one step, smiling at him. Levi's eyes went in shock, but not in excitement, "Dougie?"

Gunner was in his dining room, slowly eating his food when his mother and father were sitting across the big table, there seemed to be silence between him and his parents, but his mother and father were talking to each other and all Gunner could think of was keeping what happened between him and Levi to himself.

When his parents were still talking, his mind flew away, he was scared to tell his parents, especially his father, who's very strict on religion. He sighed and looked down and slowly continued to eat his food.

"Gunner, is everything okay?" his mother said. Gunner refused to answer as he continued to look down his plate. His father looked at his mother, "Maybe he's not hungry,"

"Can I tell you guys something?" Gunner looked up in regret and hurt. His mother looked up, "Sure,"

"If I tell you guys, would you promise not to be mad at me?" Gunner said. Gunner's father slowly turned around, "Did you get a girl pregnant?"

"No, Dad, it's something different than that," Gunner took a deep breath. "I know that I'm not perfect or anything, I know that I've made many mistakes in my life, dating two girls that broke my heart, but this time, I've made a big mistake,"

Gunner found it hard to explain to his parents, especially from looking at the serious look on his father's face. "I just hope you can forgive me for what I've done, but, I... I was kissing a guy, I'm so sorry,"

The utensils shattered on the table as his mother seemed shocked, her facial expression demonstrated what she just couldn't believe, she shook her head as she looked down, "Oh, god,"

The look on his father's face was rather angry and disappointed, his mother stood up, walking slowly out of the dining room, trying to cope with what he told. "Mom, Dad, I'm so sorry,"

Gunner's father still stood near him at the dining room table, "Pathetic. You're just pathetic, Gunner. I can't even look at you right now."

"Dad, I said I was sorry," Gunner began to feel brokenhearted. Gunner's father shook his head and stood up angrily. "I never raised my son to go against our religion. Never. You are going to hell, believe me,"

Gunner suddenly broke down after he said that, "Why would you say that?"

"Get out of my house, you pathetic piece of junk," his father yelled out. Gunner stood up in hurt, "But, Dad, where am I going to go?"

"To hell," Gunner's father said. "Until then, I suggest going to your boyfriend's house and stay with him. You and your homo-self is never allowed in my house," Gunner's father slowly walked upstairs and slammed the door behind him. Gunner stood prancing around the dining room, frustrated, and as he threw a chair down, he fell flat on the floor, sobbing and crying softly.

THE END.
