Coming Out is the fifteenth episode of the first season of ClevanOTP's fanfiction: Glee: The New Years.

So here's what you missed on Glee!
Daniel and A.J. became enemies just to fight for Rick Castello's love. When A.J. won, they decided to make a truce and later on, they suddenly became closer. Meanwhile, Chuck threw a party with a couple of special guests, Santana Lopez, Brittany Pierce and Artie Abrams, the former members of New Directions. Suddenly, Chuck gets drunk and has an encounter with Dougie Eastwood. Whoa! Now, he's stuck in the middle when he doesn't know if he likes or dislikes Dougie.
Well, that's what you missed on Glee!
Chuck was walking in the hallway at school and then Rick walked to him.
"Hey, man", Rick said.
"Hey, what's up?" Chuck said.
"Man, that was a hell of a party,"
"Hmm, you're telling me, I'm grounded for a week," Chuck said.
"What did you do?" Rick said.
"Ah, well, let's just say, when we all woke up from the party, I cleaned everything up and I left everything behind,"
"What did you leave behind?" Rick said.
"A beer bottle," Chuck said.
"Wow." Rick looked down and sighed.
"What's wrong, you've been down all week,"
"Man, it's A.J., he's been acting pretty weird lately, most of the time he won't spend time with me, he's always hanging out with Daniel, I feel left out,"
"Oh, Rick, it's probably not that bad," Chuck said.
"Oh, really?" Rick said.
It turns to a flashback.
"Hey, hon, you want to hang out, go to a movie or anything," Rick said.
"I'd love to buddy, but I can't, I'm going skating with Daniel,"
"I can come?" Rick said.
"Oh, man, buddy, sorry, but we only got two tickets for us,"
It goes back to Chuck and Daniel.
"Damn, man, that's pretty crazy. But not as crazy as what I'm going through,"
"What's going on?" Rick said.
"Oh, nothing, it's nothing. Just some problems at home,"
"Oh, well, I'll talk to you at rehearsals, I gotta get to class," Rick walked away.
Chuck got his stuff out of his locker, and all he felt was someone's hand slowly and softly touch him all the way down to his bottom back.
He quickly turned around and it was Dougie.
"What are you doing?" Chuck said.
"I'm touching you," Dougie said.
"No," Chuck turned around to see if anyone were looking, and saw that almost everyone was in class.
"Look, Dougie, we were drunk, and I'm not gay, nor am I bi, that was a mistake. " Chuck said.
"I know you still can't forget about when you rocked my world that day, I know you liked it somehow,"
Chuck tried to hide the feeling, and he briefly bit his lip.
"Stop, Dougie, I have a girlfriend," Dougie said.
"Anna? Come on, now. Do you think she can touch you like this? Do you even think that she can talk to you like this, make you feel turned on? Or do you think that she can do this?"
Dougie moved closer to Chuck and slowly kissed him.
Chuck backed out, "Stop, please, just don't do this right now,"
"Fine, but remember, I'm only a whisper away," Dougie winked.
Chuck's heart was beating fast, he jumped and jumped and blushed. Damn!
Elizabeth's mother knocked on the door.
"Go away..." Elizabeth was on her bed.
Her mom sighed, "Listen, sweetie, you're gonna have to talk about it sooner or later, it's great to let it out, not to keep it in,"
"Now you're telling me, right?" Elizabeth said.
"You sure you don't need anything?" Her mom said.
"No, just go away,"
Her mom sighed, and walked away from the hallway door.
Elizabeth's phone rang, and she got a phone text from someone.
It was Charlie, Elizabeth looked a bit angry, her fist balled up and it was like her face was gonna explode. She aggressively threw her phone and cracked it in half.
"You son of a bitch, you think I'm gonna answer your calls after what you did to me? You bastard!"
She ripped off her posters from her wall, she threw stuff in her room on the floor, she tossed her mattress over and broke her mirror near her dresser.
"You coldhearted piece of crap!, you're a cheater! A cheater! A cheater!"
Elizabeth stopped and landed on the floor crying.
"Why did he do this to me?, why did he do this to me?"
At the skating rink, Daniel and A.J. were skating, having fun with each other.
A.J. fell, "Whoa!"
Daniel picked him up, "It's okay, man, practice makes perfect,"
A.J. smiled.
Daniel smiled back.
Meanwhile, they were at a table near the rink and they were eating and having a conversation.
"So, how's you and Cheyenne?" A.J. asked.
"I guess, we're good, I've been spending a lot of time with you, we hardly really hang out like we're supposed to. How's you and Rick?" Daniel took a sip from his soda.
A.J. sighed, "Rick's been pretty needy lately. I don't know what's gotten into him."
Daniel shrugged, "No, when I mean, how's you and Rick, I mean, How's you and Rick?"
A.J. raised an eyebrow, he laughed. "We haven't thought about that yet, I haven't met his parents yet,"
"What?!" Daniel said.
"Yeah, he doesn't want me to," A.J. said.
Daniel rolled his eyes. He doesn't deserve a hot guy like A.J., such a shame. But then on, he sighed.
"You OK, Daniel?" A.J. said.
"I guess, I gotta go," Daniel quickly got up and sighed and walked away.
A.J. was curious of what was on his mind.
Rick and A.J. were in A.J's room, and they were studying together.
"So, how was your night with Daniel," Rick said.
"It was great, but until then he left, he had something important to do, I guess,"
"I want you to stop hanging out with Daniel,"
"Excuse me?" A.J. said.
"I said, I don't want you hanging out with Daniel anymore,"
"Why can't I?" A.J. said.
"It's just that, you never spend time with me anymore, OK? And I feel like Daniel is taking you away from me, and I can't have that, you're mine."
"So, what are you saying, that Daniel's trying to be with me?"
"Maybe so, you'll never know, he tried to get with me, he's probably trying to get with you,"
"That is so impossible, Daniel's my friend, Rick," A.J. said.
"Still, I don't want you around him," Rick said.
"Rick, you can't tell me what to do, OK? You may be my boyfriend and all, but I deserve a much better attitude from you, so if you can't deal with the fact that I can do whatever I want, then you can get out of my house," A.J. said.
"Fine, I guess that's the best thing to do," Rick got his books and put it in his bookbag and he left out his room and closed the door back.
Will and Chanel were in the choir room talking to the glee club.
Will wrote, "SUPPORT" on the board.
"Support. A lot of you guys haven't been supporting each other lately, there has been a lot of drama since Claira's departure from the club. So our assignment is to sing supporting songs just to show that you really care about this club, our peers, your friends and most of all, yourself."
Addison raised her hand.
"Mr. Schue, I did have a song planned out this week that might relate to this assignment," Addison said. "Sounds awesome, come and sing it for us, Addison,"
Addison got up and smiled, and then took a deep breath. Addison snapped her fingers at the band, and the music played while she was getting ready to sing "Reach Out (I'll Be There)"

Daniel looked down, then looked at A.J., Rick looked at Daniel and shook his head.
Everyone clapped for Addison, she took a bow.
"That was amazing, Addison, really amazing. A great example for the rest of you guys. Overall, just be there for someone who truly needs it. Someone who needs that help."
Everyone nodded their heads.
Daniel was walking in the hallway, until Rick stopped him.
"Daniel, I want you to stay away from A.J.," Rick said.
"Um, I'm pretty sure it's his decision if he wants to hang out with me or not," Daniel said.
"As of right now, it's my decision, I really want you to stay away from him, he's mine,"
""He's mine?"" Daniel chuckles, "What do you mean by that?"
"Oh come on, man, I know you're in the closet, I can just see it in your eyes,"
Daniel was shocked, he stood there like a statue.
"Daniel, you don't have to hide anything, I'm bisexual. I know what it's like being in the closet. I knew it since you tried to be with me."
Daniel was still stuck like a statue.
"Just come out, and you'll be OK," Rick patted his back and walked away.
Daniel almost couldn't breathe, he couldn't believe that happened to him.
{C The next morning in Glee Club, Elizabeth was still absent from school.
"Guys, any sign of Elizabeth?" Will said.
"Nope, she's been apart from us ever since," Anna said.
"What happened?" Will said.
Charlie looked down.
"Long story, Mr. Schue," Anna said.
"I just hope she's OK," Will said.
"We all do," Chuck said.
"If it wasn't for Charlie over there, she would be here,"
Charlie rolled his eyes.
"She'll probably come soon,"
It turns to Elizabeth in her room singing and walking back in forth in her room.
"Yo, yo, yo, this song, yo. This song is for all the women out there, that been lied to by their men and I know you all been lied to over and over again. This is for y'all. Yo, maybe you didn't break the way you shoulda broke, yo. But I break, know what I'm saying, so. This is how it goes, yo... This year, Christmas day, you would spoil me and say, "Babe, I love you, love you and I swear", Held you when you were sick, even ... the whole time I think to myself, this isn't fair, What is this I see, you don't come home to me, when you don't come home to me, can't deal, can't bear. You keep tellin' me lies but to your surprise. Look, I saw you kiss her, and you're caught out there.". {C Elizabeth threw more stuff around in her room to take all of her anger out. {C "I hate you so much right now, I hate you so much right now, ah! (She's so), raunchy, so vulgar, not me, why the hell her, look, she dresses a mess, what do you see. It's not all about cash, not how much you flash, how I dress is a reflection of me. You keep tellin' me lies but to your surprise, look, I got somethin' for y'all, since you're caught out there. I hate you so much right now, I hate you so much right now, ah! The music stopped, and she sat down with a headache and cried, her mom came upstairs and looked around her room and saw her crying, her mom gave her a hug.
Chuck couldn't stop thinking about Dougie and Chuck's little night at the party.
Chuck couldn't stop blushing but then he slapped his head a couple of times.
"Chuck, get a hold of yourself. You're in love with Anna, not Dougie," Chuck shook his head fast.
He thought of when Dougie said, ""And you sir, have the biggest bone I've ever seen,""
Chuck looked down his pants and he imagined of Dougie feeling his pants, he bit his lip.
"Gosh, Anna never did anything like that for me..."
Chuck sighed. He laid his head on his bed and smiled.
"Gosh, I think I'm suddenly in love with Dougie Eastwood..."
Dougie was looking down in the choir room the next day. He was looking at Chuck and Anna laughing with each other. He began to sing,
"I want you to know, that I am happy for you, I wish nothing but the best for you both. Did you forget about me, Mr. Duplicity?, I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner, It was a slap in the face, how quickly I was replaced, And are you thinking of me when you kiss her? 'Cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't able to make it enough for you to be open wide, no, And every time you speak her name, does she know how you told me you'd hold me until you died, til you died, but you're still alive. And I'm here, to remind you of the mess you left when you went away. It's not fair, to deny me, of the cross I bear that you gave to me, you, you, you oughta know. Daniel went to Chanel's office for an emergency. He saw Will in there.
He was curious of what was going on, and as he walked in slowly, Chanel told him, "Come sit down, sweetie," {C Daniel sat down.
"What's going on?" Daniel said.
Will took a deep breath. "Daniel, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, why?"
Will looked at Chanel, Chanel looked at Will.
"Daniel, um, Rick told us that you've been pretty down lately,"
"I haven't,"
"And there's something I want to talk about with you," Will said.
"Well, yesterday, someone has made a school news article about you, and we're kind of concerned."
Will handed Daniel the paper and sighed.
Daniel looked at Will, then took the paper.
He read the article.
It said, Well, we have another someone in the closet! Thanks to student Rick Castello's speech in the hallway, we've found out that our William McKinley High School student, Daniel Mick is in the closet.
A tear fell from Daniel's eye. He started crying.
"We are so sorry, Daniel," Will said.
Daniel sniffed, "Do .. do .. do you know how hard it is for me coming out to everyone, and telling everyone that I'm gay?"
"We understand your pain," Will said.
"You don't, Mr. Schuester, you don't. You're not gay!" Daniel got up and balled up the paper and threw it, and he aggressively pushed the door, and walked to where A.J. was.
No one was in the library but A.J. since it was after school. Daniel walked into the library and started crying even more, he spotted A.J.,
"Daniel, buddy, what's wrong?" A.J. said.
Daniel grabbed A.J's shirt and aggressively kissed A.J., his eyes were open at first and then A.J. suddenly closed his eyes. A.J.'s hands went to touch Daniel's soft face.
Then after that they stopped kissing.
There was silence. A.J. looked down, Daniel was still crying.
"What was that for,"
"I was outed around the school, A.J., I can't deal with this anymore,"
"Wait, outed, you're..."
"Yes, I'm gay," Daniel said.
A.J. looked down. "I'm sorry, man. But why did you kiss me?"
"Because I'm in love with you,"
"You're in love with me?" A.J. said.
"I've been in love with you ever since,"
"Wait, you were in love with me ever since, but you and I were fighting over Rick,"
"I wanted to get closer to YOU, not to Rick."
A.J. looked down, "I'm actually not surprised,"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, Rick told me that you probably wanted me,"
"Rick's a complete jerk, A.J., you know that, he came to me and told me to stay away from you, and told me I should just come out of the closet," Daniel cried even more.
A.J. was shocked when he said that, he never knew that Rick was like that. A.J. just sighed and he wiped the tears from Daniel's eyes.
"Don't cry, I'm gonna be here for you," A.J. touched his face.
Daniel looked at A.J. with his attracting eyes, A.J. looked back, A.J. moved a bit closer to Daniel and kissed him. Daniel made his move by kissing back. A.J.
In the auditorium, A.J. sings, "Here I stand head in hand, turn my face to the wall. If he's gone I can't go on, feelin' two-foot small. Everywhere people stare each and every day. I can see them laugh at me and I hear them say,"
Daniel and A.J. both sing, "Hey you've got to hide your love away, hey you've got to hide your love away."
Daniel sang, "How could I even try, I can never win, hearing them, seeing them in the state I'm in. How could she say to me, love will find a way, gather round all you clowns, let me hear you say.."
"Hey you've got to hide your love away, hey you've got to hide your love away."
Cheyenne looked at Daniel.
"So, you're actually gay?" Cheyenne said.
Daniel sighed, "Unfortunately, I am."
Cheyenne nodded. " So, this is the end of you and me?"
"As bad as I don't want to, yes. The truth is, I'm madly in love with A.J.," Daniel said.
Cheyenne nodded again, "I honestly knew it,"
"You did?" Daniel said.
"Yeah, it was obvious, because you spent so much time with A.J., and the day you yelled at me, I kind of figured we've grown apart,"
"You're not mad or anything, are you?"
"No, Daniel, of course not, I'm pretty much proud you came to me and told me besides cheating on me behind my back, that really shows that you're really honest and true, and I will always love you, Daniel,"
Daniel smiled.
"I hope we can still be the best of friends," Cheyenne said.
"Of course," Daniel said.
Cheyenne got up from her chair in the library, and kissed Daniel on the forehead, smiled and patted his back. {C Daniel smiled and sighed.
A.J. was walking in the hallway smiling, and Rick then came behind him.
"Hey, babe," Rick said.
"Save your babes, I'm done with you," A.J. said.
"What?" Rick said.
"Yeah, I'm just done,"
"It's him, isn't it,"
"It was you that outed him, wasn't it," A.J. said.
"I didn't out him," Rick said.
A.J. showed Rick the paper. He read the article and he sighed.
"Damn it," Rick said.
"I'm sorry, but, I can't be with you anymore,"
"Why can't we be together anymore?" Rick frowned.
"Because you hurt someone who didn't deserve to be hurt, and I found someone new," A.J. walked away.
Rick looked at A.J. walk away, and he saw Daniel at his locker from afar, and saw A.J. walked to him and hugged him. Rick was devastated, he sighed.
Elizabeth was walking in the hallway with a different style, she had blonde hair and she had sunglasses on. She was walking with a skirt and a T-Shirt on with shoes, everyone were pleased and shocked as she walked near them, one person was turned on.
She then walked in the choir room, and everyone was shocked and silent as she walked in.
"Elizabeth?" Will said.
"Elizabeth?" Chanel said.
Elizabeth quickly took off her sunglasses.
"Hello." Elizabeth said normally.
"What's with the look?" Chuck said.
"I thought I just needed a change," Elizabeth said.
"Why, you look so beautiful just the way you were before," Addison said.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes.
"Why weren't you here for the past couple of days, Liz?" Anna said.
"I just needed a break, I had to clear my mind, I needed a break from school, from the club,"
"From me.." Charlie said.
"Speaking of you, Charles, I decided to sing a song for you guys, to show why I've been absent."
Music started to play and Elizabeth sighed. She began to sing.
"Oh yeah, I've got trouble with my friends, trouble in my life. Problems when you don't call me at night but when you do, you always start a fight but I can't be alone, I need you to come on home. I know you're messing around, but who the hell else is gonna hold me down?"
Everyone looked at Charlie. Elizabeth took off her "wig" and aggressively threw it on the floor.
"I gotta be out my mind, to think it's gonna work this time. A part of me wants to leave but the other side still believes. And it kills me to know how much I really love you. So much I wanna ooh, ooh, ooh to you, ooh, ooh. Should I grab his cell, call this chick up, start some shh, then hang up?Or I should I be a lady? A girl like me shouldn't be acting crazy. 'Cause I don't wanna be alone. I don't need to be on my own, but I love this man, but some things I just can't stand. Oh yeah, yeah. I gotta be out my mind to think it's gonna work this time. A part of me wants to leave but the other half still believes. And it kills me to know how much I really love you. So much I wanna ooh, ooh, ooh to you, ooh, ooh. The song ends, and everyone suddenly claps, but all eyes on Charlie. Charlie seems depressed.
Elizabeth cries after, and then Shawn comes and consoles her and hugs her, following Cheyenne and Addison.
Charlie walks out.
Chuck and Anna were talking in the lunchroom and suddenly Dougie sits in between them.
"Do you guys mind?" Dougie smiles.
Anna smiles, "Sure!"
Chuck mouthed a word at Dougie, "No." and shook his head.
Dougie sat down, "Thank you guys,"
Chuck found it hard to look at Dougie in front of Anna, because deep inside, Chuck has feelings for Dougie and it's not right especially if he's dating someone the opposite sex.
"I think that was cruel of Charlie for doing that to Lizzy," Anna said.
"Poor thing, I never seen a girl so hurt like that," Chuck said.
Anna clears her throat.
"Oh, um, well, um, I forgot that part,"
"Mmhmm", Anna tried to make Chuck remember the time he kissed Claira.
Anna said, "I'll be back, I have to go to the bathroom,"
Anna left, and Chuck looked at Dougie.
"You're really trying to take it to a high level, aren't you?" Chuck said.
"What are you talking about?" Dougie said.
"Dude, how many times do I have to tell you, I'm dating a girl,"
"Dude, when will you understand that we both had sex?"
Chuck sighed.
"Do you know what hell I could be in if she found out that we boned?" Chuck said.
"But we can't keep this secret forever, Chuck? She's gonna find out sooner or later," Dougie said.
"Maybe if you would stop coming near me with this situation, she won't find out at all,"
"Picture this, Chuck. You and Anna will make love one day, she's the only one who loses her virginity in this encounter."
"So..."
"So..., it would be better to tell her you're not a virgin than to keep it inside. Think about that, Mr. Junk-In-The-Trunk," Dougie winked.
Chuck blushed hard as Dougie walked away and moved to another table. But when Anna came back, he wiped off the expression.
"Where's Dougie?" Anna said.
"Oh, um, he had to leave,"
"Oh, OK. You all right?"
Chuck was a bit jittery. "Me? Me? Yeah, I'm fine!" He smiled.
Anna smiled, "OK..."
Chuck felt guilty inside, he looked at Dougie, and he winked and waved.
Chuck bit his lip for a second then stopped.
Daniel was dragged into the auditorium by Chanel and Will.
"What's going on, guys?"
Everyone was in a shirt that said, "We care."
"Daniel, we know that you're gay, we all know," Anna said.
"You've probably been through a lot trying to figure out who you really are, and we understand, I understand, because I've been there, I'm bisexual, and I'm very vulnerable about it. Just going through the pain at home, the homophobic actions and that's one reason why I'm joining the Gay-Lesbian-Bi Alliance." Addison said.
"I've been there myself, Daniel, you know. I've dealt with a lot of pain dealing with coming out to my mom. My dad died, and my mom wasn't really fond of me being gay and now she supports me throughout. And we are always gonna be here for you, Daniel, just know that, through bad times and good times. Glee Club is where we all support each other, care for each other, and love each other," A.J. said.
"And that's why we dedicated this song to you, because we know how it feels." Addison said.
Daniel smiled.
"When you feel your heart's guarded, and you see the break started. When the clouds have all departed, you'll be right here with me. Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, you'll be right here with me,"
A.J. walked closer to the stage in the spotlight. "When you're life is going too fast, off the train tracks, I can slow it down."
Addison walked closer to the spotlight, "Just when you think you're 'bout to turn back, scared you might crash, I'll be your ground"

Daniel began to smile and cry at the same time.
A.J. got down off the stage and walked to Daniel, and held his hand tightly, pulled him off of the chair and didn't let go of his hand, and sang, "I will be there right be side you every step you take. I will be your strength, your shelter, shield you from the rain.."
Rick was sad looking at them two, and he secretly left the stage. With Cheyenne in the background vocals, everyone sang the chorus. Daniel went on the stage and everyone surrounded Daniel, smiling and dancing, Daniel was so happy that he was cared about in Glee Club.

Everyone cheered and all hugged Daniel, with Chanel and Will.
